A theory on the staff shake-up...

I am guessing the following changes:

Mularky will be tight end coach.
Shula will be the QB coach.
Garrett will be the Offensive Coord.; he fits the bill as a guy that Cameron can groom. Remember, Shula is 41, which I still consider to be young.
Houck could be promoted to assistant head coach, or so could Capers.
I hope that Lofton considers the WR coach position, but I will settle for someone other than the guys in that position over the last 10 years.
Got some real questions about whether the rest of the Defensive assistants will stay.

I loved McDuffie on the field but after he sued the team would he really be an option as a coach? Not sure if there are any burned bridges there? I wish he could put a uniform on again though and show Chambers some heart.

RichyRich...just becuz you sue someone doesn't mean you can't work with them...in fact, it happens every day in the business world...a little 'in-house' fighting shakes up the system...keeps the doldrums away...would be essential to have former-Phins involved in some capacity...coaching/internships, mentoring, being at Davie...it helps the community of 'team', n'est-ce pas?

Garrett has done nothing with our QBs to merit a promotion. :shakeno:

I talked to OJ when he was in town for the Outback Bowl, and he didn't mention anything about being interested in coaching. NFL coaching is no joke. Its a very time consuming job.

Why does everyone say get Loften he is under contract. SD will block us, its like saying we should have Hired BB for Head Coach, for some reason I don't think NE would allow us to talk to him.
