What I'll always remember most about the Marino era, was how, sports fans from everywhere, would talk about how great he was. Everywhere I went I heard people talking about him. He also had mad respect from every opposing teams TV, radio and news crews.

If memory serves me correctly this was the game Marino hit Duper on the flea flicker for about a 70 yard TD.

I remember a comment in reference to Marino by Jim Everett after that game where he said, “He does my job so well”.

One of the most amazing things that the best QBs of today can't say, is that Dan's receiver never had to break stride. There was no slowing up for a pass, adjusting a route... Dan hit them exactly in stride.

That type of QB play is what has been sorely lacking in Miami, since Dan retired. I think Marino's precision was the best I've seen in my lifetime. He threw into the tightest windows I've ever seen.

That 5 TD game was unbelievable! He was slinging it all over the place. And yeah, he hit Duper for the game winner. Duper had three TDs. Everett was a rookie that year and just recently got the starting job and played pretty well.

Well, ya saw more wins than losses which is a good thing...

He had the velocity to do it, not many would even have attempted some of those tight throws, more often than naught they would have been intercepted. He was special for sure and we were blessed to have him...
