Are you considered a true fan if you bash your team when they lose, you feel like you hate them for losing, but as soon as the next game is 1 day away, you are the most excited person in the world?

GO DOLPHINS!!!!! and GO DOLFANS!!!
 
If you bash your team I wouldnt call you a fan at all, if you point out their faults thats something different.
 
i'm a true fan always have been but ever realize that we have the right to boo or cheer or whatever who do you think pays their salaries??? ya thats right the fans do. dont get me wrong i dont boo the team i question some things and have different opinions but thats part of being a fan if a player is to much of a girl that they cant take it get off the field sorry 5 mil a year isnt worth fans booing every now and then
 
As long as you are always rooting for the Fins and always supporting them, that'll do just fine man. It's funny how when the Dolphins lose, it's like getting in a fight with my woman. I just try to avoid them for a day or two.
 
I come from Germany next week to see the dolphins, I guess I must be a real fan !!
 
Most people are only critical of the team because we want them to get better. It's kind of like having a kid, your only critical of them because you love them and you want them to do well in life! Remember when your parents use to say "This is going to hurt me more than it hurts you" then start smacking you on the behind with a belt? :lol:
 
If you care, your a true fan. whether its positive or negative attention your still passionate, because to you it matters. IMO that makes you a true fan

:wink: Yes you are a true fan!!!! However if the team continues to lose and you lose that excitement then you're not a true fan. However, even if you bet against them you're a true fan if deep down you want them to lose so they clean house or get a better draft pick, etc. then you're intent is pure. Betting on the other team just means you're dealing with the situation as best you can.
 
You know you are a true fan when your team wins and all week long you are as happy as can be. And when they lose, all week long your pi$$ed off. :)

If you don't get passionate about the Dolphins when they win you're not a Dolphins fan. If you don't get passionate about the Dolphins when they LOSE, you're also not a Dolphins fan.

There are fans who think if you criticize a individual player, then you're not a true fan. Not so. If a player is justly criticized, then you are a fan who cares about the TEAM. Fans who think you aren't supposed to criticize are still fans - they are just overly optimistic.

Then there are fans who overly criticize every aspect of the team. These fans are annoying but they are still fans. They are just extremey pessimistic and it can get under the skin of other fans.

Then there are the REALISTIC fans who find a balance between criticism and praise and know when and where to apply both. They don't look through the rose colored glasses, instead looking at the team from a FOOTBALL fan prospective and not letting the love for their team get in the way of being honest about their assessment.

Then you have the "fans" who cheer and scream and hollar for their team when they are winning, then disappear and say nothing and show no support when they lose. These are not real fans.

That's my thoughts about it in a nutshell...


I AM a TRUE, realistic, passionate fan.

Spousal abuse is a terrible thing. Now go to the fridge and get me a friggin win beetch!
 
im a true fan i allways love the dolphins but sometimes i get upset when they dont love me vack
 
When I die a little each time we lose, and it hurts deep down inside, that's when I know I'm a true fan. Being mad as hell at them and ranting about it doesn't affect "fanship" at all.
