We have the 13th pick in the draft. Why not trade back with Denver's 31st pick. They need a QB badly and we could collet a 1st round from them next year. They won't be as good as they were last year with Kansas City and Oakland in their division. We could have two first rounders next year, plus with all the complementary picks. My thought process is players love Gase and we could actually get very good players in free agency next year. The goal to win a Superbowl(s), like Ross wants.

Good idea. Miami could still potentially grab a corner there and probably pick up another 2nd rounder this year and a 1st next at minimum.

There's no way Lynch gets to Denver at #31. Too many other teams need a quarterback so that's a perfect trade partner if the Dolphins want to go that low in the draft.

Another thought. This could allow Miami to gamble and take someone like Jaylon Smith at #31. Derrick Henry could be there as well.

You could get an additional 2nd as well. Elway really screwed up by not signing Brock back. They got Mark Sanchez as their starter. They need help badly. There are so many options at 31 that can help us. How is Jaylon's recovery going?

Sounds as if Jaylon Smith is ahead of schedule with news of him bench pressing 400 pounds and no longer limping. That is great news in such a short period of time. I don't know all the specifics on his injury, but this is a player I'd gamble on. Maybe #31 is still too high for him, but at least you have other picks in this scenario.

I would love if Jaylon fell to us in the 2nd. Imagine him and Kiko behind Suh, We would crack the top 10 in defense if they both stayed healthy. Top 5 if we can get a good staring CB opposite Maxwell.

What about the players we need?

Sounds like a Jimmy Johnson move. Too savvy for our boy.

every spring there are some fans that think trading back is simply a matter of our choice

Tanny: Hi John would you like to trade up to 13?

Elway: no

Tanny: you have to, Dolphin fans say you must

dont see us making some great trade, when we already showed the kind of trades we make when we traded down for low value

Elway will start Marky Mark at QB then. He has no choice.

No thanks. Why help another AFC team get to fill their one and only need? Personnel decisions, especially in the draft, should not only be about making your own team better but also about making the other teams worse.

I think Denver learned they don't need a QB to win..I'm sorry, but Manning was awful in the Superbowl. I am sure they are fine sitting pretty and drafting someone late or waiting for next year. The QB prospects this year are not too appealing. I think it would be a reasonable trade considering I am sure we are going to reach to pick whoever we pick at #13.
