well so far in this game, 2 things are very evident. We need a WR who can catch for sure AND J Allen has taken a step back apparently and isn't playin g in the game other then Special Teams. on the other hand, RB is playing very good. We need him in there and i honestly dont want RW back b/c all he will do is slow down RB progress in the NFL. so i wouldnt be surprised we trade him for ANYTHIGN possible since we need so much help. oh yea another thing, ouR QB's SUCK.

on that one 17 yhard run by RB, i believe if he had that extra gear, he woudl have taken that to the house. thats what i was talking about in an earlier thread. He needs that 2nd gear.

funny how our offense picks up with lemon but stinks with Joey. heh.

I love how we finally opened up the offense. WTF were we waiting for? when we have NTN to lose? 234234 bucks syas we will go back to our BS offense vs the colts next week as we always screw up like that. go back isntead of forward this year via offense after opening it up.

Same crap different QB. this offense will remain nothing short of mediocre until we get some recievers. Personally I thought Harrington looked better in the first half, two key passes dropped by Chambers. Lemon throws an INT on his second set of downs that luckily was dropped by the Jets defender, then later Lemon lays Welker out on a poor decision throwing into triple coverage. The offense moved the ball with Lemon basically on dumpoffs to mcmichael once the rain stopped. Lemon did have one really nice throw actually it was a really nice catch on a pass thrown behind Hagan for a first down, I still can't believe Hagan made that catch the kid might have potential afterall.

The only question this game answered for me is one that was answered long ago and that is Chambers needs to go.

We need a QB...

We cant pull a Florida and switch QB's in and out.... That just dont cut it...

We build our team around a QB and not one of them has stepped up to the plate yet.

Draft a QB

Let Lemon start the Colt game from the beginning and see what he can do.
You'd be nuts not to. The guys looks pretty good. Might as well see how he handles a full game, because neither Joey or Culpepper are the future there.

I wouldn't trade any of them for Pennigton. He does not belong in the NFL.

Hey, if your pointing out stuff about the game, give some love to Derek hagan. Guy made a few good grabs and played pretty good from what i saw.

If your gonna jump on anyone in our secondary, it shouldn't be Allen, it should be Bell. Bell got torched by chicken wing armed Pennington. At leas tpoint out someone thats on the field. I mean i love Bell, but the guy was a total none factor in this game.

i dont think pennington is the future either, obviously he has lost arm strength that he did not have, he is baby sitting the job for somebody

1. Stupid challenge on Sabans part in the first half, when it was clearly a catch

2. 3rd and less than two, they are averaging more than 6 yards a carry, and they decide to pass, especially a bad call considering the bad weather.

3. Dropped passes by the offense (I know the weather had a little to do with it)

4. The dropped int, that landed right between his hands, no reason he should of dropped it!!!!

5. NO GUTS BY KICKING A FIELD GOAL ON 4TH AND LESS THAN A YARD. At least call for a measurement and see exactly how short you are, and at least THINK about going for it. Saban didnt even think about going for it, he plays to lose, and doesnt play to win, hes got no guts!

If they made it on 4th and less than a yard, which I think they would of had a very good chance at making it, then even if you continue to run the ball, and dont score the TD, then you kick the field goal with as less time on the clock as possible, and almost guarantee overtime at the worst.

Bad game management on the coaching, and bad clock management as well.

1. someone else pointed in another thread that Saban did this so he could talk to his defense. basically, took a TO on that play.

2. i have to agree. 3rd and short we should of let Ronnie have the ball. he was running good all game.

3. Yes, CC should of had that deep pass but have you noticed most if not all of their drops have come from JH. still think JH throws are poorly thrown but in that case it hit CC in the hands. you have to make those type of catches.

4. kinda hard to catch the ball when you let it go through your hands and basically get biatch slapped by the ball, but you are correct. he should of made that INT, esp when he jumped up in the air for it and the ball hitting him in the hands. guess thats why cornerbacks or some of them are receivers with poor hands.

5. I truely understand why Saban took the FG instead of the going for it, but now after hearing other board members reason on why we should of went for it. i have to change my earlier stance and say that Saban should of went for it. We had nothing to lose by going for it and if we made it, we could of knocked the Jets out of the playoffs.

Another reason he should of went for it, other than the fact that he had nothing to lose by going for it. Is that theres just over 2 minutes left, if they make it, and then still are not able to get the TD on the next set of downs, then you kick the field goal and leave the gets with minimal time left to do anything with. So at the worst, you go into OT.

Even if they didnt make it, you still got the 2 minute warning, plus a timeout. The Jets take over inside their own 20, and most likely they are going try to run the ball. Miami's D was playing well most of the game, especially against the run. So if Miami stops then and makes them go 3 and out, then they get the ball back with about a minute and 25 seconds to go, with decent field position, and would of still had the chance to drive and kick the field goal.

So in my opinion, either way you look at it, he should of went for it on 4th and short, he had nothing at all to lose. And by not going for it, he just shows he has no guts and played to lose the game.

Its just disgusting in my opinion, and I still cant get over the thinking on that call. Just does not make any sense to me at all.

I guess the steam is still coming out of my head from this game.

So dissapointing to see them lose like that.
