So we have Buffalo, Jets, Titans, and Texans left for our supposed "easy" half schedule. At this point we could go 5-1 or 1-5.

Anyways, the second half schedule at this point seems less than brutal.

New England - ok tough one but we always split as of late

Bills - always bad matchup

Eagles - Bradford looked terrible today and now 0-2

Cowboys - Romo may still be out or just coming back from injury

Jets - Meh the Jets

Ravens - 0-2 season start

Giants - 0-2 season start

Chargers - Just lost to Andy Dalton

Colts - Luck is Mr INT and we've beat him before

Patriots - Probably clinched division, could sit starters.

So yeah, tough, like all schedules, but it's not like we're playing the Patriots for 10 straight weeks. So this perception that we HAVE to go 6-0 to start is a bit premature and like every year shaped by the realities of the season as it progresses.

This team needs to improve fast. But nobody is exactly taking the league by storm right now. Except maybe the Patsies as usual.

If we can't beat Jax why even bother analyzing the rest of the schedule?

If this team can't beat the Jaguars every game is going to be a struggle. With the lack of depth at some key positions and as the injuries pile up this team is just going to get worse. The Dolphins everlasting slogan will be no different this season, which is "Maybe next year".

JJ watt will bat all of Tannehills passes down while sacking him 10 times at least....you have been warned...

The funny thing is that there is probably some fan for each one of those teams going through the same exercise on his team's forum, writing the line:

Dolphins - Lost to JAX, barely beat WAS. Lol"

This team has proven it doesn't deserve respect. It doesn't deserve to be mentioned as a playoff team. We have too much talent to play this poorly. I just don't get it.

We're not one of the worst teams in the league (at least I don't think we are) so we'll manage to be just good enough to not get a good draft pick again.
Honestly the best thing that could possibly happen to this team is a 1-3 start so we can leave Philbin's lame ass in London.

I get what you are saying but the notion that there are "easy" teams in the NFL is just plain wrong. Yes ON PAPER it looks easy but it's why they play the game. It also was a road game. I don't care who you are playing, the game will be fairly competitive in today's NFL. People need to remember this team is a middle of the road team. Just because a few fat "experts" claimed otherwise, doesn't mean you can't see through it all and realize what it really is. This team is the same 7-9 to 9-7 team except we have a 100M dollar boat anchor for a d-lineman at the expense of the secondary and linebacking core. So ask yourself...are we really that improved at key positions vs last year? psst...the answer is no..

Allow me to take you through it....

New England - loss

Bills - always bad matchup - yep and they'll be pissed next week. We will make their heads get big again when they realize how "good" they are again.

Eagles - That's a loss for us....our third straight road game after NE/Buff trips and you could get Sanchez if Bradford still looks awful.

Cowboys - They don't even need Romo to beat us. They will carve us up and spit us out with those lines of theirs. At least our front office will see first hand what real lines look like.

Jets - Meh the Jets - oh really? We'll do no better than split with that team and our home game is in London.

Ravens - 0-2 season start - another team with better personnel and they tap dance on us pretty good when we play. See, they play physical football.

Giants - 0-2 season start - one of the few we could win, but again, a coin flip game probably.

Chargers - Just lost to Andy Dalton - They will still be tough for us to beat. Do you think we would beat Andy Dalton and the other Bengals right now? I sure as hell don't.

Colts - Luck is Mr INT and we've beat him before - another overrated team with weak lines so I might dare to dream.......naw, luck will eat up our inferior back defensive seven.

Patriots - Probably clinched division, could sit starters. - And if they do, they STILL may beat us!!!

5-11 was my prediction in the preseason thread and I'm wondering where they'll all come from to be honest.

The team is a reflection of its coaching staff. Unemotional, unprepared, and no contingency plan.
How we start each game like they just woke up from their naps...is beyond my imagination.
This defense is terrible, we cannot control the LOS, and RT17 cannot throw deep no matter how good the weapons.

Point is the Ravens, Giants, and Eagles are 0-2. The Cowboys just lost their QB and WR for half a season. And the Bills were shell shocked today. We're an arrogant enough fanbase to peg teams as "easy" to beat, but equally as arrogant to believe we're alone in thinking we can't beat anyone because of one loss.

There's no question we won't win anything with these slow starts. But there's 14 games left. Rams fans thought they finally turned the corner last week then get beat down by the same Redskins we beat last week. There are no guaranteed wins on any side of the schedule in the NFL. As always it's week to week. Fingers crossed.

Oh, and you forgot.....

Houston - who we've never beaten.....ever!

Tennessee - looks like they'll be an up and down team so who knows? But it's also on the road.

Those could both easily be losses. I mean, we just lost to the Jacksonville Jaguars. That was the easiest game on the schedule this year.

And while I agree with your post above mine, this team lacks quality in the trenches. They're just weak, have no depth, have a horrendous back seven on D and two new kickers. How could we have been thinking playoffs at all? I guess the fans thought Ndamukong Haynesworth was going to carry us to Santa Clara or something?
