• Among some of the other undrafted free agents who have gotten decent reviews in our conversations with coaches and personnel men: cornerback Chris McKenzie (Houston), linebacker Marques Harris (San Diego), wide receiver Taylor Stubblefield (Carolina), tailback Walter Reyes (Tennessee), tailback Sam Gado (Kansas City), defensive end George Gause (Buffalo) and safety Abram Elam (Miami).

We need someone to play safety...maybe one of our rookie free agents can step it up and play well for us.

He was available as an unrestricted FA because of his character. There is littlee doubt he has talent. It remains to be seen whether the risk taken pays off.

Well considering that another safety was just released due to DUI and drag racing at 111 MPH, lets hope this guy doesn't revert to his old behavior.

I don't really see why this is a risk. Sure he has a checkered past but if he can't put it behind him what do we lose.

Looking at the numbers we usually keep 9DBs. With the last regime we usually had 5CBs and 4Safeties.

CB: You can count Madison, Daniels, Edwards and Howard making the team for CBs.

S: As far as Safeties it all depends on if we can sign Shulters on who we keep. I see Tebucky, Bell, and Shulters/Tillman making the team.

Thats 7 and so we need 2 more. I can see Tony Bua making the team if he can show he can cover in the open field. So who makes the final spot???? Well it could be someone who can play both positions or come in on dime packages in spot duty like Abram Elam.
It also depends on Ty Law or if Roundtree is completely heathly and shows something? Also look for what Deandre Eiland can do during training camp with him being able to play S and CB.

Also take into consideration that we will have another corner most likely just for the yeaR SO IF WE DO PICK UP tY THERE SHOULDN'T BE ANY OF THE FOUR CORNERS THAT YOU listed cut.
