I've heard the Jags and Bears could be potential suitors for Odrick. I would have no problems with Odrick coming back.

One player who will likely be back with #Dolphins: Jared Odrick. Expect the team to come to terms with him on a new deal.

Not sure Abramsons history of sources with Fins but he seems pretty reliable & I enjoy reading his articles & blogs. I'm ok IF Odrick comes back & we release Starks but he needs to pick up his play really struggled in run defense BUT he seems to be pretty popular in the locker room so would probably be good to have him back.

So much for suh if this happens

If there are serious intentions on pursuing Suh, I believe they will have time to do that before making any deal with Odrick.

@FinzTaint Can't say 100% but heard from insider that it would be a surprise if Odrick isn't back.

If they were preparing to make a run at suh at the combine when talks go down they wouldn't be sniffing odrick right now...makes me think suh not in play...mistake IMO

I swear if we miss out on guys like we did last year over a million bucks or something stupid over the course of a contract I'm gonna be pissed...the denver guard that went to jax comes to mind...Miami was interested but not willing to meet 5 and 30...Was ok at 5 and 25 but no go at 5 and 30

I would have went after Suh hard but honestly he's a pipe dream…I think we all know that deep down. He is going to have several teams offering him a ton of money. Its not like we would be the only team willing to pony up a McCoy esque contract. JO is a good player…as long as we aren't giving him some crazy 8 mil a year deal or something I would have no problem with bringing him back

Suh's awesome... but don't know how we'd plan to stash the soon to be highest paid defensive player in football, and also sign tannehill, and also pay talent around him. Like you said, a pipe dream at best. Odrick is a much more affordable alternative who already has a place in this locker room.

Suh was never coming to Miami, too much $$$ for what we have to spend with many other needs, and 31 other teams who could throw money at Suh. Im an Odrick fan and was hoping to see him back so i like this news for sure.

Suh was a pipe dream.

I like Odrick, but I am not running with this one just yet.

Definitely a pipe dream. He doesn't have the injury history our FO covets in free agents. Further, the last thing we want is our defense becoming too talented.

Why does everyone think Suh would want to come here?

Suh was never particularly realistic. Personally Odrick isn't the guy I'd be retaining. It's not that he isn't talented, I just think we need to focus on a block occupier more than a 3-tech. NT is a much bigger need along the DL, hope they realize that.

I would love take sign Suh even with all his penilities. But seriously, If Philbin has trouble handling the likes of Wallace, Dansby, burnett, Bush, VD , Smith ect... What makes anyone think he could handle Suh? As great as Suh is he's an incident/penalty/fine waiting to happen. He needs a coach who's OK with letting him be himself and walk the fine line between bully/thug and football player. Philbins not that guy. Nothing in Philbins past suggests he's even remotely capable of doing that.

Just seen if he was to resign he'd be first phin to sign a second contract following rookie one since Vernon Carey and Ronnie Brown. Lol thanks Ireland

Pipe dreams are guys who never have a chance to hit free agency...a mccourty a Cobb a Demarious Thomas...suh isn't that...he has a shot to test the market...miamis dumb not to make a play here
