Adam Gase, Constantly Thinking During Game Time.

That was a really well produced piece. Loved the dichotomy between heart and brain they showcased.

Makes me want to apply Gase's level of logic to life. Nothing to do but watch what's happening when it's already underway. Not sure I could ever do that, but it's something to strive for.
 
Gase isn't ALWAYS so calm and cool. I noticed during his mic'd up video when the defense got that interception, Gase let loose a bit.

Bellicheat also doesn't call plays. He lets his specialist do those things and guides as he feels is necessary. Essentially, freeing him up to see the big picture and hopefully help improve every aspect of the team.

Not going to lie, it bothers me to see him racking his brain going over offensive stuff while other aspects of the team are on the field.

It seems to highlight he's more of an offensive coordinator instead of the head coach.

A good leader puts his trust and faith in those subordinate leaders under him. Gase is no expert at defense or special teams...so why would he step on his trusted leaders toes? What are you looking for him to do? Be a cheer leader, or actually interfere/influence those play calls?

Gase is the new Sean Peyton. Amazing how similar their mindset and demeaners are.

And if were lucky enough, we'll have him for decades to come....the first few games of the season were so fun and THAT is what we can look forward to. When we have a healthy/effective offensive line (and lets be honest it could still be so much better pre-injuries) ...this guy is THE MAN.
 
very impressed w spaight and rizzi in this clip. it gives me faith in this staff tbh, gase especially .
 
How does Gase do this btw? Tebow was GOD AWFUL. Cutler was GOD AWFUL. Brock was GOD AWFUL....

With any our coach these guys were utter TRASH. How does Gase get the best out of them? Its truly remarkable....

Just gets insane in his face and screams some crazy ****. Gase doesn't reply. He misses the kick. Rizzi's like, see I told ya so!Gase doesn't reply.

I wish it were as simple as just putting trust and faith in those subordinates. There is also something called earning that trust and faith. Burke is practically a baby. Would you had a loaded bottle to a baby? Of course not!

Additionally, he's the Head Coach which means the entire team falls under his decision and non-decision making process.

If he just wanted to just call plays then he shouldn't have signed up to be an HC.

Also, Being an offensive play-caller absolutely gives him purview towards defensive philosophy and strategy.

Don't be dissin' Gase (in his face...) because he's not goin' bananas (yea, I said it!) be

cause the GAME (yea, the "game" dude) is much bigger than some emotional

knee-jerk reaction to some random play that just happens to

change the game!
