I would love to see a video of Rizzi chewing out Spaight during the Bengals game. Dude was lit.

Bellicheat is no shining personalityMakes you wonder if it's a good or bad thing that Gase operates in this way?
Bellicheat is no shining personality
A good leader puts his trust and faith in those subordinate leaders under him. Gase is no expert at defense or special teams...so why would he step on his trusted leaders toes? What are you looking for him to do? Be a cheer leader, or actually interfere/influence those play calls?
Gase is the new Sean Peyton. Amazing how similar their mindset and demeaners are.
And if were lucky enough, we'll have him for decades to come....the first few games of the season were so fun and THAT is what we can look forward to. When we have a healthy/effective offensive line (and lets be honest it could still be so much better pre-injuries) ...this guy is THE MAN.
What the hell did Rizzi even say?!
Bellicheat also doesn't call plays. He lets his specialist do those things and guides as he feels is necessary. Essentially, freeing him up to see the big picture and hopefully help improve every aspect of the team.
Not going to lie, it bothers me to see him racking his brain going over offensive stuff while other aspects of the team are on the field.
It seems to highlight he's more of an offensive coordinator instead of the head coach.
