I could easily live in Carlsbad - it's beautiful. There are some fantastic resorts there. The lush accommodations/facilities and scenery are probably concessions by Gase for making the players stay away from home for such an extended period of time.

I bought into the quiet, incisive, competent Tom Landry-like image of Philbin - too prematurely and based too much on faith. I have been reluctant to emotionally invest similarly in Gase not wanting to be stung twice. However, I gotta say at this point, no matter this season's outcome, that I think we have a smart, player-relateable, and competent HC going forward, who unlike Philbin, doesn't need cue cards to speak, handles himself impressively and actually learns on his feet.

I'm beginning to buy in on this guy too. Really like the unfiltered and no bs style. The thing that stands out to me the most is his confidence in what he's saying and doing. None of these situations seem to big for him. I like that.

Yoiu know Ross has no issue whipping out that card to pay for those accommodations...I don't like much of his decisions, but I do like the fact that he wants the best for his players. He does take care of them, when the league allows him to.

we spent a week just North of Carlsbad in Oceanside this Summer. Been wanting to go back since I left

Gase seems really comfortable in this role during these press conferences. Sometimes I have to remind myself he is so young for a head coach in this league.

By the way he responded, it sounds like Gase and Albert would be fine with him playing with a cast, but if a doctor gives that a no-go because it will cause him permanent damage then Albert may be out for the rest of the year. Huge gap between "missing no time" and "no longer a Dolphin" and it sounds like a hand specialist is the one making that determination.

Albert being out it's not good at all. Yes I trust the rookie at LT but now you have 4 of your best 5 starting instead of your best 5. We've been winning but we really miss Jones back there and not having Albert is just as bad.

Ozzy rules!!

Mario Williams smh always gets hurt in a game that he makes good plays at.

I hope Brandon Albert can play Rams have a great Dline.
