Adam Rank NFL.com-Manning will sign with Dolphins

It's Deja vu all over again. This is very reminiscent of Fisher and everyone saying he was a lock to sign in Miami.

One has nothing to do with the other. I really hate when people try to compare one situation, with completely different variables, to another.

even with manning the dolphins are a distant third in the afc east

only way he signs in miami is if he goes for the money

That is one of the dumbest things I have ever read. I guarantee if the Dolphins get Manning we will kick the Jets sorry ***. I am so confident we will sweep the Jets with Manning that I will sig bet your foot fetish rex ryan lookin ***!!!

Dont get scared!!!

Must suck to be Fisher right now huh? Nice decision there jackass. You're stuck behind the 49ers and probably the Seahawks, with a defensive coordinator that will likely get suspended or even banned from the league, and with Bradford who is unproven. Whereas you could have ended up with the Dolphins and with Peyton freaking Manning, you know that guy who used to kick your Titan's ass every season.

yeah, as the little defacto general his first two major decisions were a terrible OC who was kicked to the curb in the swamps of jersey and then a cheating DC who he never stopped to wonder why NO was sol anxious to offload. More mediocrity from Coach Mediiocre.

We outplayed you the last game and over the last 1/2 of the season, and that's even with an albatross named "tony sparano" (sound familiar?) a turnstyle in Columbo and a terrible OL coach - trash the jest now salvaged from our dumpster. Hell even our existing QB, whom we're looking to upgrade ended the season as the second best QB in the division while yours was the worst. There's no clubhouse cancer here and we actually have receivers who are worth a damn, not to mention a legitimate running game and don't need to salvage Ronnie Brown who we've already used up.

So if you really think that the Biills will be the second best team in the division next season, you're as wrong as Rex Ryan pimping his wife's cooter out for big strange tools and foot fantasies.

I'm not so sure.

Ross has an amazing ability to get someone in his sights, take aim, and suddenly turn the gun around and shoot himself in the face.

Ravens or Texans would be fun, but Dolphins will get him

Peyton Manning will end up with the Dolphins. I know, it would be much more fun to consider some dark horse coming out of the shadows, like the Ravens. Or if you're a professional wrestling fan, it would be fun to imagine Manning pulling the ultimate heel turn and signing with the Texans to specifically target the Colts in 2012. Or if you're a delusional Jets fan who likes to pretend that your team matters, New York might make sense. (It doesn't.)

But none of that is happening. Manning will sign with the Dolphins because owner Stephen M. Ross needs to bring some excitement to the franchise, something that having all the celebrity owners in the world can't accomplish. With Ross' willingness to spend the money and a pretty good Dolphins team, the choice here seems rather obvious. Even if there isn't the intrigue and drama in the decision.
