Trent Green has be given permission to seek trade and the Dolphins are interest. Adam Schefter also said that we dont have an answer at QB. Cam Cameron is very close to Trent Green since their days at Washington and Indiana and Quinn will not get pass Dolphins if he last to 9.

Where do I sign up for........

suicide?

no thanks to Green...I want Quinn!!

if we're showing interest it COULD MEAN that Meuller & Cam are havin trouble trading up for Quinn..

Hopefully they think of him as an insurance policy and nothing more at this point.

Actually it's the total opposite, they would be bringing Green here as a stopgap starter for next year and someone to help groom Quinn to start in 08. If we end up bringing Green here I guarantee you we will trade up for Quinn!

lol, I mean if we get Green and Quinn falls to us . . . what are we going to cut Daunte or Lemon?

Doesn't make sense. I would take my chances with Lemon over Trent Green if Pep isn't ready and have Quinn in the fold. Green is a step backwards . . . this isn't McNair with the Ravens . . . Green IMO is finished.

Sounds good... Why trade for that though?? If he is just to groom the new guy instead of Culpepper just go get Bledsoe.

I don't understand this one. Why bring him here? Unless they are not sold on Daunte. We have our veteran and decent backup. What we need is a young rookie to groom for the future.

Its not out of the realm of possibility to carry 4 QB's.

Green knows Cam's offense and has worked with him before.

Cam likes cerebral, accurate, high-character quarterbacks. He can win with those guys. I wouldn't at all be surprised to see Green here for two years while the successor (selected in this year's draft) is groomed. Trent had fantastic seasons in 2004 and 2005 and, remember, he didn't play a lot early in his career so he hasn't been beat up as many as some his age. He's been to the Pro Bowl twice. I think the successor will be Michigan State's Drew Stanton or Cleo.

I hope we don't trade for Trent Green. I love the fact that we have 9 picks in the draft and we would probably have to give up a 6th round pick to get him. IMO, I would rather keep the 6th then trade it for a guy that would be here 2 years at the most.

ugh...If we trade for Green kiss C Pep goodbye...wow that would suck.
