Adam Schefter just spoke on NFL Network about Chad Pennington and said to forget the Vikings. He said the Vikings are very committed to Jackson and GUs. Schef said the two most likely teams are the Dolphins and the Chiefs. Adam ended by saying that the most likely team is the Dolphins for the same reasons Farve wanted to go the Vikings. Pennington would love to face JETS twice and year and make them pay for his release.
 
Well i guess it would make sense that he goes to the Chiefs. They have their own QB woes of course, and Chad Pennington is very familiar with Herm Edwards. They could start Pennington whilst giving Brodie Croyle more time to get it together.

That makes two teams in the race out of it. Both teams have suggested they are not interested. I think the Chiefs will remain commited to Brodie Croyle, plus they have Damon Huard over there.

Although I was impressed with the Chiefs draft, I think the Herm Edwards express is headed for an iceberg. KC will return to prominence, but not until after he's gone. If Penny's smart, he'll cast his lot with Parcells. He could start here for a year or two, and get a ring while carrying a clipboard for us during our SB run in year 3 or 4.

Herm's a good coach, i think he's got a few years left in KC to turn it around and i think that he will.
 
Bring him in!!!!!!!! I LOVE A GUY WITH A CHIP ON HIS SHOULDER!!!!

Like the one year we had Thurman Thomas. He ran like a beast that year in his limited time cause he was pisssssed at the Bills!!!
 
I really would like to see Noodles with the Dolphins. I think he did a lot of good things in his career with the Jets..he had a couple of runs in the playoffs with them I think, and he was always a class act..and really, he's not that bad. At least he would be a better mentor for the young guys than McCown. I know the Jets have Favre and all now, but I really think a lot of their fans will miss Chad
 
Plus KC has Damon Huard and Brodie Croyle. The reports out of KC camp is the Tyler Thigpen has been a big surprise and could be challenging for the starting spot.

Yeah the magic of Damon Huard has pretty much worn off, they may very well go with Croyle to start the season but i think Pennington would be the move to make until they are sure Croyle is ready.
 
If Pennington lands in Miami, this preseason becomes all the more important for Beck and Henne. They have a chance to show Sparano & Parcells how short Penny's leash should be.
 
Don't get rid of Beck or Henne... I still have faith in Beck personally. I would not mind bringing Pennington in for a run for starter.
