Adam Schein Picks Fins to win! Jet fans don't like it...LOL

Honestly the Dolphins should be well positioned to win this game. If they don't, a lot of folks need to re-think their 6-10, 7-9 and 8-8 season predictions.

There's a lot going in Miami's favor in this game. If they can't win this one, which ones are they going to win?

Shein is a moron, he predicts the Jets to have 4-5 probowlers, yet a 8-8 record. He thinks the Bills will go 11-5, hes a Bills fan just so you know. The only reason I listen to him is he tells some alright inside stuff, he says he talks with Gms, scouts, players about the Jets on our show. That said, I do not think like some fans with that the Dolphins can't beat us, I think you guys have a real good chance at winning.

Granted.

However, a young team like us, with so many new pieces (including staff) might continue to "gel" and improve throughout the season, and therefore, may still get 7 wins (give or take) even if we lose this game.

I'm predicting a win for us.....even without being a homer about it.

I think this "young" team is more likely to show their age by failing to continue their success through to the end of the season. I think they could start out hot, go cold and never recover.

That's certainly possible, but IMO I do believe they'll get better (even if marginally) as the season progresses (barring significant injury issues of course).

As Pennington gets more comfortable with our receivers, as Jake Long/Donald Thomas/Langford/Matt Roth/etc move along the learning curve, as Ronnie Brown gets more confident on his knee, and so on.

Yes, rookies may hit the rookie wall, other teams may start to learn how to gameplan us, etc.

However, I believe the progress should outweigh the setbacks overall, netting us more improvement than regression over the course of the season.

As I said, it's possible we regress, but I think it's more likely we improve overall. We shall see....

CK is just trying to do the prepare for the worst, hope for the best thing.....he knows darn well that he senses the same thing we all do......that Dolphins are going to surprise the league this year and make the playoffs...

I hear where you're coming from, however I think thats when Pennington and Porter's veteran leadership will step in. IMO, if these Dolphins start the season off well they will maintain. There is just enough veteran leadership to keep their heads in the game.

Additionally, even though I would love the Phins to win this game I dont believe it is a must to have a good season. If they can come out and be competitive and show they are a new team with a new attitude a good game can get them going in the right direction.

I know no such thing. I think the Dolphins would be lucky to go 6-10.

Sounds awfully similar to the folks here.

By the way, if he's a moron, why would a company pay him to talk about something you say he lacks the brains for?

i dont think they win this game, its too big of game way too fast, i love them and how there playing but....

If they do win this game, then i would think more then 6 wins is a real possibility. There not gonna be under more pressure throught the season then game one, they win this game and iam gonna freak out.

I think the lovely thing about this game is the pressure is all on the Jets.

We're not expected to be much better than last year and we were the worst team in the league a year ago.

That's what gives us the edge here. The media is portraying this game to be this big deal, but it's on the Jets and Brett Favre not on Miami at all.

I hope and believe a win is not out of the question; however, I'm not sure who will have the better game, Ricky Williams or Ronnie Brown.

I have both on my fantasy team, but our running back situation seems more murky than clear.

Hmm, that link to the Jets' board reminds me of Finheaven when some analyst doesn't pick us to win.
