The Dolphins internally have discussed unsigned veteran corners Leon Hall and Antonio Cromartie. The only 2015 full-time cornerback starters, below the age of 35, that are still available are Cromartie and Arizona’s Jerraud Powers (Miami has not pursued Powers to this point).

Cromartie would be a welcome vet who still has gas in the tank. I would love this. We need a vet in our secondary..

I'd like to add a veteran CB. But we NEED to add a RG. Assuming Albert gets injured and eventually Tunsil slots in at LT for good ... that'll mean we need both a RG and an LG. CB? Sure ... but the need is not as dire as our OG needs.

Dolphins jersey sales would skyrocket 800% because of all the ones they'd have to buy for his kids.

It'd make us more popular and raise our viewership in like 18 states.

I'm on board.

Hall yes, Cromartie no. Guy had tire tracks on his face all season last year.

Hall on the other hand I would welcome. Rotating him and McCain at slot has a lot of appeal given our depth issues.

Yes to Hall. No to the tire tracks faced baby maker.

That guy that was talking all that smack when Reggie Bush was with us....no thank you.

I like Cromo, dont know why we didn't sign him in 2014. He's better than both of the 2 corners we signed the past two years.

Wowwwww.. We just drafted a few DB's and you are talking about band aids until next draft..... I'm wondering if fans from other teams are similar to Dolfans!!! Lol smh

I'm still concerned, despite the draft we have one corner with a fair amount of NFL experience and a young inexperienced corner, no matter who lines up as the other boundary CB. We're not sure McCain can handle the nickel and if one of those three get injured...

Seems like a lot of concern to me?

Obviously, Cromartie remains an elite athlete with prototypical size. Even if he has lost a step, he is still fast and long. He also has an elite NFL skill set. However, I seriously question his motivation. If VJ is really, really confident he can get 100%, I would go for it; but if he has any doubts, I would rather just go with Lippett or Howard.

Antonio Cromartie needs to pay that child support, I would sign him for the vet minimum and hope we find a gem.
