He's an ascending player who can run block well and is improving as a receiver every day.

We'd do well to re-sign our core guys:

1. Jarvis Landry
2. Reshad Jones
3. Kenny Stills
4. Dion Sims

Jarvis and Reshad are the irreplaceable ones. Admit it, how many times have we said secretly to ourselves "If we had 53 Landrys/Joneses on this roster, we'd be in the Super Bowl every year":hump:

I like Dion and would like to seem him sty and play at the level he played well. He is also huge for run support in two TE sets. But there also a few tight ends in the market and during the draft that could fill his shoes.

It should be an easy signing, he wont get alot of competitive offers.

I think what a lot of people look past with Sims is his pass pro ability. He doesn't catch a lot of balls for us because at times he's like an extra OT for us. He has pretty dang good footwork against DEs and especially LBs. Not all world or anything but he gives the QB a lot of extra comfort from where ever he lines up to block. Then at times he'll slip out for a chunk play here and there. That's a good player in my book.

My only concern with him is his history with concussions. Other than that, solid player that shouldn't break the bank.

I have Sims as a "I would like to see him come back" player, but not a must have. If he leaves I don't think it's that hard to find a comperable tight end.

I would definitely put Branch over Sims.. We should be looking to get a playmaker TE in the draft or FA if possible.

I ran into Duarte today (I live next to TC) and this guy seemed so small. called my dad and thought oh man I hope they draft a big pass catching TE (Howard, Butt)

I would re-sign Sims and/or Branch at the right price.

Completely agree.

Reshad Jones is literally the last priority on my re-sign list. He is coming off an injury and is already under contract for next season - a contract that had him as a top 5 paid safety in the NFL coming into the season. Moreover, we were 1-4 with him and 9-2 without him this last season - great player no doubt, but he tried to leverage us last off-season and I think he has even less this year. I definitely want to re-sign him, but I'd like to take care of all our current FA's and even Landry before worrying about Jones considering I am positive he isn't going to give the Fins a team friendly deal.

Also, if we had 53 Jones/Landry's we'd essentially be those U teams from the 80's. I'm with it.

You are most certainly right with pertaining to priorities.

1. Kenny Stills
2. Brandon Albert (His contract needs to be restructured)
3. Jarvis Landry (only because he is already under contract)
4. Andre Branch
5. Dion Sims
6. Kiko Alonso (RFA)
7. Reshad Jones (Last year on deal)
8. Koa Misi (If he comes back it has to be at the vet minimum)

Agree with that list. Then get two guards from the free agent market and we're ready for the draft
