Adding context to the voicemail

WOW, I'd love to hear the tone, I bet you anyone hearing it could tell its a joke that's why we only got a transcript...I always found the part in the transcript (laughter) should've been a dead giveaway.

How will the talking heads find a way to blame our entire organization for this now?

Very interesting about the last line that was omitted. Funny how the media loves to frame a story to help black guys named Martin

Horrible lack of credibility for Martin. You are nothing without credibility.

Why for some reason do i suspect this was over a girl? Im sitting here thinking...and Its the only thing i can think of that would make two guys on the same team to act this way. At least thats one of the only things that would make me even come close to hating someone else enough to do this.

does anyone else think that a woman could be the x factor in all of this? call me crazy

It's as old as Helen of Troy. "The face that launched a thousand ships!"

Men love to go to war over women, lol.

Yep, when I first read about it my initial reaction was it was a buddy leaving a very provocative voicemail to somebody he considered a close friend. And who says "Ok, call me back." to someone if you legitimately just threatened their life.

Hartline hit the nail on the head that its usually the person closest to you that can do the most damage.

It's completely irresponsible for a sportswriter to put words on twitter without context. You'd have to hear the vm, hear the tone, to determine what's going on, and also be told what was going on that particular day. This, I believed from day one. My first thought actually was, did they get into an argument and what preceeded it? I wondered where the vm's were on Ritchie's phone, if there were any. When I was told, no they're not friends, not enemies either, there was no altercation, just a player randomly bullying another guy. The only problem was, none of that was true. It was not random. They were peas and carrots. Close friends on the field and off. And the last line of the vm was not printed, which completely changes the tone of the entire vm. How on earth do you leave that last line off of twitter? The only thing I can think of is there's some sort of agenda against Incognito or the Miami Dolphins organization, to do that.

As far as it being about a girl, that's the last thing in a long list of scenarios I'd consider to be plausible.

Or as Bill suggested.....

How many posters here jumped on Ritchie when this first came to light. Most are no different than the media in overreacting without hearing the full story.

Just like the Ireland news that just broke so quick to announce he is as good as gone.

I don't how jokingly using a racial slur makes it any better, just because it may have been excepted by some, doesn't mean it was excepted by all and to someone who looks to have some potential mental health issues this could have been magnified.
