Well that was a cluster ****.

At least we can finally move on and if I am Mr. Hickey I am coming into this organization knowing I very likely have only 1 year to make a splash in this mess of an organization.

Go BIG, spend big on FA and draft play makers.

First things first I resign Grimes and Starks as quickly as possible and make it hard for them to even think about visiting elsewhere. I then turn all my attention to the offensive line and start throwing large bags of cash at the Alberts, Monroes, and Macks of the world. I explore the interest of Jaryus Byrd but only briefly and if nothing happens then quickly bring Clemons back on board, we can not have Jimmy Wilson as a starting Safety.

In the draft I am looking for an impact offensive weapon at TE, WR, and HB or an every down linebacker to replace Misi or Wheeler. Use late draft picks to fill in depth and potential along the offensive and defensive line.

So what moves do you want to see from Hickey this off-season?
Do you agree that barring a playoff run next year that he will be on the street next year with Philbin and Dawn?

Wow! Thanks for giving me a rational reason for Ross wanting Aponte to be the czarina. I did not think that was possible. The worst thing that could possibly happen is an undisciplined spending spree!! I hope Hickey can make good decisions without over spending.

I said nothing about undisciplined but if you think we are going to solve all our problems by not spending that 40 Million we have, well you are wrong. Upgrade the oline with NFL proven players, we don't have the time to gamble on a first round lineman we need someone who is all but assured to pan out. Perfect year to do this as tons of great talent all along the line in free agency.

Go BIG as in lineman, yes they are expensive but o so worth it as anyone who watched this season can attest.

Wrong, so many on here banged on Ireland for doing this very thing and never fixing it while bitching about drafting Pouncey at 15.

I would just resign mckinney and Clabo and make sure you get stud G's. Gaurd is easier to plug and play in this league. Draft your future T's who will come in at some point due to injury/bad play.

Most great OL are picked early. Its a position you can kinda tell who can play right away in this league or not. Of course there are exceptions but Pouncey is perfect example. People just dont like drafting Ol early ever around here.
