Advice on getting to and back from the Stadium.

Never been in Miami , planning on-a Uber or Lyft.
seems I have read that the area has some crime events.
I would just like to see the game and the stadium experience, then get back to where we are staying.
Any thoughts on surviving afterwards

I am in the same boat and will be ubering myself. If anyone has advice please share.

It isn’t Mad Max outside the stadium. You’ll be fine.

Just plain common sense is the only advice you need. Don't wander around in shady looking areas outside the safety of the stadium and stadium parking. I went last year for the 1st time and while it wasn't the best-looking area outside the stadium it's not like there were crack heads ready to mug you. Just get inside your Uber and mind your business. There will be plenty of people around because of the game so I can't imagine anything crazy going down besides maybe fan fights or parking lot car fires.

Not gonna be easy getting Uber to find you but I'm sure it happens. Tons of taxis park just outside of the yellow parking lot on the street.

Thanks for the heads up. I am headed to game Sunday as well. Will be driving. How far away is Lot 42 (by the walmart)?
Last minute plans - a rare gift to myself for a recent Navy retirement (still hate that word).

if you are driving yourself its pretty easy to get out of the stadium.FYI your not even close to downtown Miami so the traffic isnt that horrid.

I parked there in September. Probably a 15-20 min walk but you’re with a million other people doing the same walk so it’s perfectly fine.

I went to my 1st Dolphins home game a few years ago against the Jets and getting to the stadium was easy, I took a Lyft. Getting a ride afterward wasn't so easy. Like they said, there are plenty of Taxi's lined up outside of the stadium but I couldn't find the designated area for Lyft/Uber so I had to walk to the nearest store/neighborhood to get a Lyft.

Im flying in for the game and use a rental car. I have parking offsite in lot 20. Its actually a school where they park you on the lawn. I did same last year. Its about a 10 minute or so walk to stadium. Easy in. Easy out.
