Boy is this going to be a long list....

Buffalo
Out
WR Roscoe Parrish (Wrist)
OLB Takeo Spikes (Achilles)
Questionable
TE Tim Euhus (Shoulder)
T Mike Williams (Ankle)
SS Coy Wire (Thigh)

The Bills got a big hit this week with the loss of Takeo Spikes. With the defense in Disaray this injury just throws more salt in the wound. After completely destroying the texans on week 1 the bills Defense has slipped dramaticaly the last 2 games. Currently their Defense is rated #1 against the Pass, And #32 against the run. Why in the world would you pass if you can run? The other big one is to T Mike williams. For some reason though that didn't effect Willis Mcgahee as he ran over 100 Yards without his Road grader. With the defense on its heels the offense will have to step it up. Losman has been very careful about not turning over the ball, but he is also not confident enough to make the throws. If he doesn't get going soon holcombe will step in.

Patriots
Out
RB Kevin Faulk (Foot)
T Matt Light (Ankle)
S Rodney Harrison (Knee)
Questionable
OLB Tully Banta-Cain (Knee)
CB Randall Gay (Ankle)
T Brandon Gorin (Thigh)
DE Marquise Hill (Ankle)
CB Tyrone Poole (Ankle)
SS James Sanders (Ankle)
CB Chad Scott (Shoulder)
CB Duane Starks (Thigh)
Probable
QB Tom Brady (Shoulder)

Where do i start? Light has a broken bone in his left leg and will miss significant playing time. Pioli though has a back-up in 3rd round pick Nick Kazkur. When light at first went down the left side looked shaky, by the end of the game though most people would not have even noticed light missing. 5 guys from the secondary are banged up, and Harrison is gone with Three knee tears. Against the steelers Gay and poole did not suit up, but starks did, and along with assante samuel they got the job done. With harrison out his job will go to Former florida Stand-out Gus Scott. Having personally known Gus, and sen him play from the sidelines numerous times beleive me when i say this kid likes to hit people. He has the physical ability to take over the safety spot, but having missed all of last year with an injury he is still basically a rookie. A rookie in a system that minimizes mistakes and plays to the strengths of its players. More kudos to Pioli. Faulk got injuried on one of the last plays last week catching a pass to set up for the field goal. In response the pats have signed veteran Amos Zeroue to the team. Currently he has 2000+ career ground yards and 1000+ recieving yards...sounds like a third down back to me. All in all the pats have not lost physical ability, they have lost experience and leadership. Harrison set the players up and handled the adjustments. The defense will have to pull together to stay competative. But even in this system new guys will make mistakes...

Jets
Out
FB B.J. Askew (Ankle)
OLB Eric Barton (Ankle)
QB Jay Fiedler (Shoulder)
QB Chad Pennington (Shoulder
Questionable
T Jason Fabini (Knee)

Do I even Need to get into the QB injuries? Let me just say this Penningtons career may not be over. If it is, do not expect a big time free agent to come to the jets. Next year Chad will cost them 12 million whether he plays or is cut. The seriousness of this is apparent when you realize that the jets Put a lot of their future money into his arm, and when they rushed him back in they gambled, and lost. Everbody and their mother knew that chad was not at 100%. Even with him in, are the jets really a SB team? Could they have even made the Wild card with Cinci and the Jags looking good. Herm was reading way to many pre-season power polls. Fabini's knee suffered a strained MCL. He has been wearing a brace and might play on Sunday. The jets pass protection was bad enough before he got injuried, then he goes down and so do 2 QB's. Hmmm this might be serious. Jets D will need to step it up. They are 30th against the run (a lot of that has to do with KC) and expect the ravens to go back to their power running game. They get their FB back this week and lewis has had another week to nurse his ankle.

Dolphins
Questioanble
Junior Seau (Calf)
Probable
Matt Roth (Ankle)
Ronnie Brown (Hamstring)
Tebucky Jones (Hamstring)

Barring any practice injuries expect everyone to be on the field against the bills. The fins only practice twice this week and will have the rest of it off. If Seau does not play spragan will fill the roll. He looked very competant in the pre-season. All in all we are in great shape injury wise, Knock on wood.

Thats it for the AFC East. Most people are saying we may get second place in the division, but even the fins beat the super bowl champs last year. Thats why we watch, because on any given sunday....

nice report. did you make it yourself, or cut and paste it??

thanks...I cut and pasted the the players, but all the commentary is original...

Jets have a serious gut check this week. At Baltimore...

Buffalo really needs Loseman to show some confidence and play well, otherwise it could be a long season for them.

NE, as much as I would personally like to see them stumble... put it this way, I still would not bet against them yet.

i agree with everything you have said.

baltimore looks BAD, so far. if the, who is their QB again.... Jets loose this game, they can basically kiss their season goodbye. but i bet they would LOVE to have a chance at Matt Leinart.

They cant afford him...

Unless the New CBA really restricts Rookie Contracts.
If the CBA does do that though Matt Leinhart Just lost a Crap load of money. Alex Smith got 24 million guaranteed, if they limit the contracts leinhart could only see 10-15 million. But he wanted to hang out some more i guess.....

It will be interesting to see what happens in the AFC East. Buffalo has a winable game against New Orleans. Baltimore will come out kicking and screaming and I don't think the Jets will be able to score, so give Baltimore the win based on its defense. San Diego finally got it right last week but will have a tough time keeping it going against NE. However, New England hasn't been as good at stopping the run as in the past and if LT gets in a rythm it wouldn't be a shocker to see them upset NE. If that happens Miami would end up in first place in the division without even playing this week! SWEET!!!

How the hell do you shut down LT. Clog up The middle and he goes outside. Blitz and he makes them miss. Has LT ever been taken down by the first guy???? And even if the do stop him he'll just take the ball and throw another TD pass to gates or Mcardell. This guy is insane...i Can't believe they didn't give him the ball for 2 games!

teams can alwyas make room for the rookies contract. he will probubly get 26 mil, but that can be spread over 6 years or so.

if the fins could afford brown, im sure the ravens will find room for leinart.

also, if the new CBA does restrit contracts, i dont see the decreasing the #. more like keep it from increasing much farther.

im sure the giants are asking that same question. he single handedly destroyed the giants.

UPDATE:
Kevin faulk has a broken bone in his left foot, and tackle Light has a broken bone in his leg. The timetable for Faulks return is 6-8 weeks. Nick kazkur may not be the starting LT come sunday. The reason he played was that he was the only O-line guy left that was dressed for the game. Gorin may start on sunday if his injury from pre-season isn't still bothering him.

Also tom brady has one of the longest spans of being on the injury report. He has been listed as probable with a shoulder injury for 20 weeks straight. Some see this as BB's disdain for sharing injury information. It is believed he puts brady on the report just to mess with people...

He is more than stoppable. You just need smarter linebackers and safties than the Giants have. I bet against NE he runs for 68 yards and catches for 55 or somewhere around those marks.

I would actually prefer Seau not practice for these 2 weeks and not play against Buffalo. Get him healthy and rested for the cadoo.

i want to say the Pats have signed A. Zeruwe (i completly misspelled his name).

and i dont buy ANY injury report of of Pats land. you are correct about B.B. their coach is KNOWN for giving false info, or refusing to report an injury.

LMAO, WOW! Could you imagine. I wonder if he would still like his decision to return to college!?? If it cost him $10Mil in his first year! I know I'd be pissed if I were him. I really hope this happens. A) in spite of Leinhart. B) Just think rookie contracts have gotten out of control.
