wow... just wow...
There are so many flaws with his argument it is sick. What a little biyatch!
1) If we beat the floundering Jets in December at home, we definitely deserve to go more then they do, so the AFC will not be "sending its worst"
2) NE's schedule is only slightly harder than ours (Indi and Pitt v. Balt and Houston), and the Jets is easier then ours (Tenn. and Cinci v. balt. houston). All the other 14 games were against the exact same opponents.
3) We win based on common games, meaning we were more competitive against the same teams. A good argument that we deserve to be there more. I will allow that there are arguments the other way, but this a$$ is making it out to be like there has been some travesty of justice.
4) I agree that if the pats go 11-5 and don't make the playoffs, there is something wrong with the system, but fans need to look to the AFC West for their explanation of the problem and not the AFC East.
5) Forgot to add - the whole cassel/wildcat excuse is ridiculous. They got massively out-coached in week 3 because our Offensive coordinators were being creative. That makes the phins competitive. Even if you think the WC is a trick play, if a team can come up with good trick plays that the other team can't combat, that is a strength. As to cassel, injuries happen and the phins took adavantage of it. get over it.
