I know that a while back there was a thread asking who everybody thought was the best QB in the east and just about everyone said Brady. The reasoning was that Brady had all the rings. I don't think that makes him the best QB...that'd be like saying Bradshaw was better than Marino...and everyone know's that's not true. Brady and Bradshaw just happened to be on a good team. But if you take the four starting QB's in the east and put them on the worst team in the league (just to be fair we won't say the Jets or Bills)...say the Texans...which QB has the raw skills to edge out the other three?

P.S. And why do some of you guys always ask for a link...even when some things are matter of fact?

:nesucks: :billsbite :jetssuck:

ummmm...I can't believe this without any proof...:link:

Brady is simply the best average QB you will ever find. He can make most of the throws and doesn't make many mistakes. But, put him in any other organization and gets lost in the mix which is why he went in the 6th round.

If Dante gets back to his former self, we undoubtedly will have the best QB.
The Bills don't even have a starting QB who can win.
The Jets don't even have a starting QB who can throw.

Brady is above average, sorry. He willed that team to the playoffs last season, if he wouldn't have been there Miami would have won the east.

I'd hardly call Brady average. He's 2nd only to Peyton Manning among QB's in my book. He's not as much of an athlete as some. He doesn't scramble all the great or have a cannon, but just when you think you got the SOB sacked he'll hit a guy for a 15 yard gain. He's as poised as any QB in the league and will pick you apart all day without ever making a play that makes you say "wow".

to say brady is an avg qb is a biased statement. he may beee "avg" physically speaking, but his poise, intelligence and the intangibles such as leadership and his ability to create are invaluable and make him one of the best in the game and depending on how he finishes his career could be top 20 all time. I know i will get slammed, but I dont judge him based on the team he plays for.

Id say talen wise, Culpepper is by far the best QB in the AFC East..... but at playing ball (winning, and finding a way) it would have to be Brady (i hate him). I have to give him his props, he led the league in passing with pretty much nothing last year... but his reighn wont last for long.

i cant imagine what Chambers will put up with a pro bowl QB

Anyone think that the Patriots may be good BECASUE of Brady.

The guy's biggest assett is that he is a LEADER........he would make any team he goes to better. While Culpepper has the best physical tools of all QB's in the division.......he has yet to prove that he has the kind of leadership qualities that Brady has. That's not to say that we can't win with Pepp......but he's just hasn't shown those intangibles.

As for the Marino, argument.......it's not valid. Marino had the leadership quality.....which is why the Dolphins were never bad with him on the team........the talent around him was never championship quality (unlike Bradshaw and Brady), but he single-handedly made them at least competitors every year.

Tom Brady is far the Best in the AFCEast. He is clutch and makes the plays when they are needed. WAY ABOVE AVERAGE. I'd take him over Culpepper anyday.

Ramsey can throw..

I hate Tom Brady I don't know how a true fins fan could say anything positive about him fact or not when it comes to Brady I bite my tounge unless its negative

More importantly, Brady shows up when its moneytime, he plays his absolute best when the game is on the line, thats what great quarterbacks do.

Right now, you have to say Brady, although Culpepper has the chance and ability to become greater than Brady.

Because your personal feelings towards a rival player does not have a thing to do with his ability. Most of us are fans of football and th dolphins. Because your or i or anyone doesnt like him or like him for that matter has zero to do with his abilities.

Yeah yeah just like montana we all know your repeated position. The question was if they were on a different team. Montana only succeeded because he had the greates receiver of all time, the perfect compliment receiver, a tight end that could catch, a 1000-1000 back, and oh yeah an offensive genuis. So that makes Montana great? Hardly in my book. Brady is the same. Product of the system nothing more. Sorry but he is the luckiest s.o.b. I have ever seen. Oh yeah and Manning thinks too much, to the point of screwing everyone else up around him.

Huh? My repeated position on what? I don't think I've talked about Montana in all my posts on this board.

At what point are you going to realize that this opinion is absurd? Most people stopped saying that after SB #2.

Montana only succeeded because he had the greates receiver of all time, the perfect compliment receiver, a tight end that could catch, a 1000-1000 back, Brady is the same.

Brady is the same? Is David Givens the equivalent of Jerry Rice? A tight end that can catch and 1000 yard back? Half the QB's in the league have that.

Product of the system nothing more.

What exactly do the Patriots in the offensive system that's so revolutionary? Did they develop an "East Coast Offense" that I'm not aware off?
