Hopefully the Dolphins will be that team this year.

MIAMI --
Every year there is a hot team down the stretch that no one wants to face. The Miami Dolphins could be that team after improving to 3-0 in December with a thrilling, 24-20 victory over the New England Patriots on Sunday.
Miami improved to 8-6 and snapped a seven-game losing streak to New England (10-4) in earning its most important win of the season.
The Dolphins now own victories over what could end up being half of the AFC's six-team playoff field. They beat the Indianapolis Colts on the road in Week 2, upended the Cincinnati Bengals on Halloween night and split the season series with New England.

Who is to say the Dolphins can't be a threat if they get into the playoffs?

"We can be real scary," cornerback Brent Grimes said after the game. "We got a lot of talent. ... We can play with anybody."

damn right. just gotta keep it going. gotta stay hot

Can you imagine if Ryan Tannehill won a Super Bowl...?

This is something I will always hold against Dan Marino, because he never won a Championship at any level, though he did win AFC Championship back in 1984, he failed and fell short there after. I hold Bob Griese and Earl Morral in higher regard.

Though Dan won a lot of games, he also lost a lot of big games. Looking back now, Dan Marino really was in a way overrated. He never won a Super Bowl, passing records mean nothing and who cares.

Superbowl is a team accomplishment

I watched an old game against the Raiders on the exact same date as our win today.

The Bills dominated us back then and Dan Marino could never get us to the promised land.

IF YOU SIT BACK AND LOOK AT THE STATS, MARINO THOUGH HE WON A LOT OF GAMES, HE NEVER EVER WON THE BIG ONE.
