AFC/NFC Championship games

I’m not the biggest fan of the Hafley hire, but today showed that Chris Shula is not yet ready to be a head coach. The Rams defense could not make a stop when they needed to and gave up 30+ points twice in the playoffs.
Rams defense was disappointing. A lot of missed tackles when they had them stopped for minimal gain. Then poor coverage all game long.

The MVP is a regular season award and has nothing to due with the playoffs. Maye had very impressive regular season stats while playing very pedestrian in the playoffs. Stafford losing last night should have no bearing on who wins MVP of the regular season. If playoffs did count Stafford would win hands down. Why is that so confusing? HMMMM

Because it’s stupid at this point to nitpick Drake Maye. If my memory serves, I think you were one of those who said he was a bum from day one. Just stop with the stupidity and admit you were wrong. I understand you might be from Beantown and hate the Pats, but you should put your extreme bias away and give the kid his props. He will probably be the MVP in his second year and is in the SB, and anyone criticizing him at this point looks like a fool.

But did Stafford lose that Maye might win it?
Stafford lost. Drake Maye won. Those outcomes have nothing to do with each other. Both are great players and both had great years but Drake is in the SB so I give him a little edge.

I said he had impressive regular season stats. I think I was giving him props and since the MVP award is a regular season award he has a legit chance of winning it. I also said he has played rather pedestrian in the playoffs. Is that not true? He certainly had a much better season than I would've thought. I would trade half the Fins team for Drake Maye at this point, strike that I would trade the entire team for him at this point.

I am a UNC alum and attended almost all his games. I knew he was special, which really sucks because he’s a Patriot now.

If Maye plays like he has in the postseason, Seattle wins this one easily. To be fair, Maye's ability to run the football was a big reason New England beat Denver. Probably doesn't happen with a healthy Bo Nix, though.

Seattle is clearly the team to beat here.

I know this isn’t real, but damn I wish it was.

Go Hawks in the SB.

I hope so I couldn't stand to see them win another SB.

They are not to be underestimated though. I would rather Seattle be the underdogs.

Its probably going to be a close game as both teams have excellent defenses.

The Broncos really blew that game yesterday with 2 huge mistakes.

Payton should have taken the 3 points in the 2nd quarter and gone up 10-0.

Then I dont know what Stidham was thinking with his turnover. All he had to do was take the sack. That turnover led to their only TD of the game.

Then when the snow set in in the 2nd half the Broncos would have had the lead and been in a much better position to win since both offenses were rendered useless.

Yeah, it probably ends up being a close game. Vrabel is a good coach.

Agree, on Denver. Tony Romo was spot on about the FG. Maybe different if you have Nix. But 10-0, with the snow, would have been tough to overcome.

it is true but he doesn't want to live in a reality regarding maye's play in the playoffs.
