After 2 years in jail on murder charge, CB Jimmy Wilson makes Dolphins' final roster

The more proper term is probably "Justified Homicide" but it is still murder. In the state of Florida and certainly almost all states there are several "excuses" for murder. Self-Defense, Defense of Others, Insanity are all examples that can excuse murder. I do not know if he actually plead self defense or if the jury just decided the gun went off accidentally on its own and acquitted him.

In either case, the circumstances are certainly clear he had good reason to defend himself and his family against the picture that is painted of the deceased.

I am pulling for Jimmy. That is a tough life changing moment and you know he hasn't taken his chance here in Miami lightly. Proud of the guy and hope to see him grow!
 
Congrats to Jimmy man. He did what he had to do, and I think it was honorable that he went to check in on his Aunt to see if she was okay on his way out of town to college. What happened was not his fault. He did what he had to do.
More importantly is, he can move on now and looks to become one heck of a Dolphin down the road. Sean better make sure he keeps stepping up his game. =)
 
Is hard to judge about this situation if you have never been a part of it. I doubt a guy with a nice career ahead of him just wanted to throw it all away. I don't condone taking someones life without
a need as well. Men who get drunk and beat their women are the most dangerous son of a ******* you'll ever know.
