Madison Forced Out Early
According to ESPN, Miami Dolphins CB Sam Madison (ankle) suffered an injury to his right ankle during Sunday’s game and wasn’t able to return, however, head coach Dave Wannstedt said he does not believe the injury is serious.
Edwards Contributes; Earns Game Ball
Associated Press reports Miami Dolphins RB Robert Edwards, playing for the first time in four seasons, scored two touchdowns for the team on Sunday vs. Detroit. The team gave Edwards one of their game balls for his production. Edwards suffered a severe knee injury in February of 1999 and hadn’t played since then.
Ricky Williams was also given a game ball for his performance of 111 yards and two touchdowns.
