After Sept. 28: No More Baseball Infield! Ever!!

I thought I read it would be replaced with grass even before the Marlins season was over for the Pats/Texans games?

As Phinz said, I think we are already done with the dirt. Last year they covered it for the early season games and I would think Ross will do the same this year.

The Dolphins plan to put grass over the dirt for the Patriots and Texans games.

But the dirt will be completely gone after September. For good.

Sorry JCane.

Actually the Dolphins won't have to deal with the dirt ever again. I think I remember reading somewhere they are supposed to have the dirt covered up for the first two games since the Marlins will be on a long road trip during this time. The next home game after this won't be for a month plus...long after the baseball season is over.

Anyone happy about this move clearly hasnt read the dirt thread from last year.

I mentioned it before, but who remembers Jason Allen falling on the dirt when Braylon Edwards housed that stop-rout last season?

Yay the Dolphins stick with their crappy stadium and the Marlins get a brand new stadium at the heart of Miami!!
