I'm asking this question because everybody here is saying we will finish 1-15 or 2-14 but I want to know what some of you thought our final record would have been last year after the 3-7 start to the season? Also what makes some of you think we are the worst team in the league besides our record, if our offense can score at least 20 points we have a chance of winning every game. Just give me some of your opinions on why you say we are so bad besides of what our record indicates?

I think we will go 9-7 if Mike Mularkey is fired or stripped of playcalling duties.

I honestly do.

This team has shown me enough that I think 7-2 is a distinct possibility if we can assemble at least one more scoring drive a game. And by "scoring," I mean "touchdown." Not "shanked FG attempt."

Because we haven't been able to score that 20 points yet.

That and because the only 2 teams we've held to less than 20 points are horrible teams (texans and Titans)

i thought we would go around 5-11. That team was much much better than this team though. Madison/Schulters in the secondary. Ricky/ronnie 1-2 punch. Frerotte better than Culpepper and Harrington. yes i'm sorry. No he doesn't have nearly as much potential but he played much better. Linehan calling the plays. We had an all around better team. We won't finish 9-7 this year or near there. 2-14.

i love the dolphins, its my life, and thats all i really care about, that and notre dame, but all i can say is there is one big difference, so what we won 6 straight last year, we didnt make the play offs did we???? so what we beat green bay? then what? 2-5.... lose to green bay (i hope not), lose to chi town ( i hope not) we beat KC, then what back to 3-7..... correct me if im wrong, but that is worse then where we were at last season, CHECK THE TEAMS WE BEAT AND LOST WHEN WE WERE 3-7 LAST YEAR......... ok so we win 6 in a row to end the season granted we beat the COLTS........ then what 9-7 AGAIN......... you know what that equals?????????????????????????? missed play offs AGAIN....... **** im drunk, im pissed, but i have come to terms, its not this year... Im still a FIN FAN for life, but gotta wait for another year, its another year worth of season tickets, and i cant wait....... i bring it on...... as for this season, lets get BRADY QUINN... im playing, just showing ND love..... i hope we mess up FARVE next week, SEE YOU FELLOW LOCAL FIN BROTHERS AT THE GAME, LETS GET NUTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was just as pessimistic as I am now. Last year I thought we could possibly end up in the top 5 and draft Vince Young, now I think top 10 pick for sure.

I thought 6-10 or 7-9 after the start last year. Our Offense is on paper not a bottom 3 team. Although it is not nearly as good as we thought at the beginning of the year. We are playing at best bottom 5 if not worse right now of course. We have lousy chemistry on offense. Its a shame when it takes being behind 20-3 and playing vs. soft coverage and not a very good D to begin with before our offense can get kick started.

Mularkey's playcalling was so-so today and for the first four games awful and ineffective. But it goes beyond his playcalling. At least we stuck to the run and eventually RB got a few runs in today. We threw the ball when we need too and took advantage of bad and reactive D from the Jets in the fourth quarter. The playacalling could have been worse.

The OL is the worst problem. And the receivers dropping passes is about focus, confidence, and flat out exectution or lack thereof. It just a very bad rut that once we get out of it the playoffs would have already slipped.

I say that we could pull out a 6-10 at the rate we are going but not better. Based on what I have seen this team could be a 8-8 and 9-7 team which of course is decent to average. But too many mistakes and lack of chemistry makes it worse. My preseason prediction was 10-6. The six game winning streak at the end of last year and off season moves really had the aqua and orange glasses looking shiny for a while there. Now reality is staring us in the faces. Oh well still a fan and will pull for the Fins vs. the Pack like any other week.

top 3 pick in draft to Miami!! Boook it
That won't happen, way to much talent on this team for them to go 3-13 or 2-14. They will be 5-6 after the Detroit game.

this year 6-10 could be it.

Thats my guess, and from what I've seen that may be optimistic. This season is over, get ready for 10 looong weeks.
