Anyone else think it's more than a coincidence that ESPN is treating the Martin/incognito story like they are? What channel is our next game on again? This will probably be the highest rated game featuring an 0-8 team ever. The hype machine at its finest...

They also have an PATRIOT AGENDA there too!! Takes some heat out of a hot kitchen in the Aaron Hernandez case!! Belichick and his crew didn't know anything about him, now did they??? Funny how Belichick got excused from that case as per ESPN......home of the Patriots!!

Everybody in this mess has an agenda. The media's agenda is to improve ratings or sales of their newspapers. The NFL investigator's agenda is to protect the NFL and the Dolphins. Jeff Ireland, Joe Philbin and the other members of the front office and the coaching staff are trying to save their careers. Ross is trying to keep the value of his investment from collapsing. Incognito is trying to save his career and appears to be willing to take the franchise down with him to do it. Martin knows he'll never play again and is looking to make a killing with a lawsuit.

To those of you who want to complain about the fact that Martin appears to want to fight this battle in court, remember that a wise military commander very carefully chooses where he will fight the battle to maximize his ability to win. The Martin's know that fighting the battle in court is where they have the highest probability of winning. It is a sign of their wisdom that they are pursuing this policy, just like Ross was wise in asking Goodell to have the NFL pursue an investigation/coverup that has as it prime objective protecting the NFL and the Dolphins.

I thought this would be about Martin's parents agendas...but the Espn spin makes sense
