Mike mularkey is the biggest reason why we are struggling, to say it nicely. Case in point: last night, last drive of the night before we miss the tying score, its third and 2 and mularkey calls a passing play with hagan being the 1st look (based off harrington not looking off any other recievers) that if completed goes for like 12 yards when all we needed was 2. Why on earth didnt he call a run play when rb is averageing 5.8. Not only that but the pass play he does call he doesnt even run a play action, he doesnt even call an I formation, rb was in the backfield next to Joey. They didnt even bother to throw the jets off with a run formation. I just dont get it. IMHO I think MM is the biggest reason for this seasons outcome so far. Thought?

That's what we've all been saying for weeks. This team has big problems, but mularkey is the biggest of them. He's directly responsible for at least 2 of our 5 losses. Saban knew first hand how this guy as the tendancy to gift-wrap games for the other team. remember that miracle come back against teh Bills last year? Mulrakey set that whole snowball in motion on our goaline. They have a 20 pt lead in the 4th and instead of putting us away for good with a 1yrd TD run (or worse comes to worse a FG), he lets a erratic, rookie QB throw it. I remember being grateful, but utterly astonished why any NFL coach would take that kind of gamble.

Like I've been saying for weeks, I listen to Buff radio every day, and I can tell you there was pure hatred for this guy -- far more than the Gregg williams or Wade phillips eras where they were just as pathetic.

I think Saban didnt know how bad Mularkey was. I think he simply went with his resume and tyhought the guy had alot of experience. He knows now but I really dont think he was aware how bad this guy is

At the end of the day it is Saban responsibility, if the guy sucks then take him out. Saban and only SAban has to be held responsible for the consequences. For goodness sake we have one if not the most expensive coaching staff in football, plus the biggest in terms of numbers. WTF are all those guys doing while the game is going on? I'll tell you what they are doing, sticking their finger up their ***** that's what they are doing.:fire: :fire:
