It's late, I looked, didn't see an SI preview thread already here but I'm sure I missed it! SI has us going 10-6, second in the East and the #5 team in the AFC. Nice...I like it, hope they're right.

I want to agree but I see a young team with lots of questions surrounding the implementation of a new offense, a patchwork line, unproven running game, and holes on defense. Maybe I'm Jaded, but its difficult to see beyond 8-8 at this point. With that said, I really wanna be wrong.

IMO I think as the season goes on that our team WILL get stronger and better , they will start Gelling as the season goes on ,and will be more comfy with each week , hopefully sooner rather than later , but we will be a tough team to handle once everybody Gels and gets use to the offence that Lazor has brought to South Florida , same goes with the defence , except wheeler, we need to find a vet with very good pass rushing skills and be able to run with the TEs of the league , we do have the talent to play or beat any team , we just need to get everything on the same paige and get better consistancy out of our OC and coaches , WE can make the playoffs this year but we need to keep our nose to the GrindStone , and play with consistance , urgencey and confidence .....

I see us going 9-7. Sweeping the Jets, splitting with Buf and NE. Beating Oak, Jac, SD, Bal and Min. If we can steal one from KC, a beatable Chi or Det team then that gives us 10-6 and the playoffs. 6 more days, I can not freaking wait.

Exactly how I feel. Well said. My heart wants to agree with SI but my head says no way. Hopefully this is one of those times when I am wrong but I see too many reasons for us to fall below 8-8 actually. But they have to play the games to decide who wins, so let's go!

Ahh, so your keyboard DOES have periods. Starting to wonder there for a minute, before I saw those five at the end. :ponder: Sorry, I couldn't resist.

Win week one and SI will probably turn out to be correct. In fact, if we win week one I think we'll be in control of the division most of the season and it'll be a dogfight at the end to see who takes it.

We could have / should have been 10-6 last year....and this team has improved. There are no easy games in the NFL....but I think it is possible. The key to me is the first 4 games. At about game 5, we get Jordan, Jones and Pouncy back, and get much stronger.

I'm gonna take some heat, but being a realist there's no way we go 10-6.God I hope i am wrong.

Wow....no way?

Your already wrong....there's definitely a way.

It all rides on Tannehill and the O-line IMO.

It might be 50/50 at this point....but there is a way.

Have you seen what became of KC's offensive line since last season? If you think we have OL problems.....

We win that game.

I agree with you we have a legit chance against KC. I believe that game is at home, right? So between not having to play in Arrowhead and the Chiefs indeed having major problems at WR/OL, I think that is a game we can win; Charles scares me, but I honestly think that team was a bit of a fluke last season. Solid football team, but certainly not a juggernaut.

I think week one really sets the tone for us this year.. Not the end of the world if we don't pull it off. We can still grind out the season like last year, but attitudes will change in that locker room, beating the previous, and mostly always, AFC east champs in week one

If we go 4-2 in the division we'll make the playoffs. Last year we had a shot at making the playoffs but going 3-3 in the division killed us.

We were 2-4 in the division. I can see why you said 3-3 though, being that its nearly unbelievable that we lost twice to the Bills.
