Does anybody know any news about this guy? Is he going to be in the supplemental draft this year?? And would you consider spending a future pick on him? I like him, I think he could be a beast at ILB or OLB...

Brooks is an absolute beast.
Being from DC I've had the opportunity to watch a good majority of UVA's games and BROOKS is the real deal.
He has the tenacity of Ernie Sims meaning he hits like a friggin truck.He can tackle in open space.....since he's about 6'3 260lbs. he won't be easily pushed around by the maulers on the o-line.
He has the same type of intangibles as AJ Hawk.He can go sideline to sideline and is even versatile enough to play back into coverage and blanket the TE's.
He does HOWEVER have 2 specific weaknesses: 1) durability concerns (he has 2 years of starting experience;however the past 1.5 years he's battled serious ankle injuries that have truly affected his mobility.
2) He's had some off the field issues...About 2-3 weeks before the NFL draft he along with Vince Redd, and another highly touted teammate from UVa were all kicked off the team for undisclosed reasons.
I STILL SAY TAKE THE GAMBLE AND GET HIM ASAP!!!! He can be a hybrid of both BRYAN COX AND JOHN OFFERDAHL only MORE athletic.

yea i would defintealy offer a fourth...i think he is worth a 3rd considering he would be a 1st in next years draft and bc we didnt draft an OLB...but a third round pick is way too valuable considering what we have been able to do with them in back to back years ( Channing Crowder / Derek Hagan)
