AJ or Gus

IMO people want AJ for two reasons, One, he's a been Dolphin and there's a tendency on most team's boards to over rate their own. Second, he's younger and people equate that with potential (which is not nec. true). I expect that once they see them both in games it will become clear that Gus is a superior QB.

Clearly, AJ has more talent than Gus in every area except the fact that he locks onto his receivers, and he dictates where the ball is going. That can be fixed!!!
Besides that, his girlfriend is hotter and he is a mullet.

As far as locking on to receivers, that is one of the hardest things to fix. Many strong-armed QBs fail every year b/c they lack a feel for the game. They compensate by locking on to their receivers. Eventually they can be taught to look away briefly to fool the defenders (at least part of the time), but they are never great b/c they lack feel.

This type of poll should be held off for at least 3 weeks. Though Ozzy and the rest are doing a great job at giving us TC updates, how can anyone make a decisive decision who should start at any position that is open including QB?
Lets see what happens over the next few weeks including a couple of preseason games.
