Ok... all the gus supporters are watching this game with blinders on. It was clear from the play-calling that A.J is not 100% comfortable in the system and he still played pretty well. Here's what I saw that the gus supporters did not see:

1. Gus underthrew CC that got him a 44 yrd. completion.

2. The TD was clearly a desperation throw he was on the run and jus threw it so it wouldn't get picked heck of a catch by Gilmore.

3. Gus supporters I guess you missed Thompson's drop.. oh yea the pass that was right on the money that went right through Derrius's hands.

4. If I hear from one more of you gus bus's or whatever that is that A.J doesnt step up in the pocket I'll go insane did or didn't AJ get hurt on a play where he stepped up.

5. And finally Gus you killed the Bears 2nd team way to fu**in go

Let's see how Gus does Sat. then make judgements.

AJ = improved over last year. I was impressed with his passing ability, but could still use some practice with the new playbook.

what are you smoking man? do you have any idea what you're talking about? There are VERY FEW Gus supporters on this board. Most of the people here bash him every chance they get. Have you not read the threads?

I for one stick up for Gus because he takes WAY too much flak. He gets blasted for absolutely no reason other than he's older than AJ. Check it yourself.....

Are you trying to make yourself feel better for supporting Feeley by saying that there are a ton of Gus supporters? Because you have no idea what you are talking about dude

agreed, i think we need to take a chance with him throwing the deep ball

AJ Feeley is like a deer wearing rollerskates that is caught in the headlights.

DUDEMAN you can honestly say that AJ was trash tonight like you are making him out to be and comeon man from a fellow pens fan lets go sid

TeeMoney that was just a lil dry isnt it past ur bedtime neway

This thread is ridiculous. Although his numbers were OK, AJ was very unimpressive tonight. Do you truly believe that they are calling deep routes for Gus but not for Feeley? The difference is that Gus knows where guys are in this offense, Feeley still has no idea.

I'm not giving up on AJ, we've invested too much in him. I definitely want to see some progress from him though. He really doesn't look comfortable at all when there is any bit of pressure on him. He's gonna need to play better to hold off Frerotte.

I have not said anything bad about AJ tonight, what are you talking about.....I'm pointing out the fact that apparently you haven't read a lot of the threads here, because most people here are bashing Gus, not hugging him. I am in the minority of sticking up for Gus when everybody tries to bring him down....a lot like you did in your first post...

btw, Pens=playoffs, maybe even atlantic division champs....the addition of Palffy will really help too

Frerotte definitely showed that he was comfortable in the playbook, even if it was with second stringers against second stringers. He looked fluid where Feeley looked spastic. Gus looked confident where Feeley looked overburdened. The roles will be reversed next week, we'll see if Saban has two good second stringers at QB, or a deserving starter and a good back-up.

(just add water)
