I don't want to be Debbie Downer, I like the pick. For me to be 100% honest I'd have to say I did and still think Edmonds was the right pick.


As for the question I have, besides Julio Jones who has Alabama put into the NFL that has major impact? I worry that they are over rated as a football factory.

How about Amari Cooper? He is pretty good last time I checked. C.J. Mosley has been a good linebacker for the Ravens. There are others as well.

I am normally anti-alabama players.

Minkah was the kind of player you drooled over as a freshman. Dude was All-American the second he set foot on a field.

Ive been praying to draft him for 2 years.

Also add Landon Collins to the list of hits.

Not everyone has a shot at those elusive Ohio State talents every year.
 
I think that this is a solid pick. Now have TJ put on 10lbs of muscle and move him to OLB.
 
I think you guys are getting me wrong here....... I like the pick, great player, and intelligent good person. I'm not ragging on him at all, I'm happy to have him.

Just pointing out that Bama is WAY over rated as a football factory..... I didn't ask for a list or average to solid players. I said impact players Ex) Jalen Ramsey FSU, see how easy that is.

Depends on how far back you want to go. From recent years, circumstances covered that and then some (great list!). Going back even further, Broadway Joe and The Snake immediately came to my mind.
 
The whole they will suck if they came from this school argument is ridiculous. Who has North Dakota ever put in the pros? Does Carson Wentz suck?
