Albert Breer has us trading up for RG3 in his mock

Albert Breer is a tool, but I'm hoping this takes place. I got a chance to watch alot of RGIII this year and he's as good as advertised. High character, high talent.. which is a rare combination now adays.
 
'demasiado caro' going from pick #8 or #9 up to #2 but Cleveland @#4 might make the deal as they also have a number of extra picks.
 
I think the Fins mortgage the farm for RGIII. No question in my mind. It will be a hefty price and FOR ME too much to swallow.
 
This wont happen on Ireland's watch. He's too intrigued by linemen and other players who will provide zero offensive impact to this team.
 
Getting RGIII is the best way to go.

He is a star and will draw fans to games.

I believe he will be a great NFL QB as well. Dolphins need that so badly to get back on track.
 
Evert mock had us at number 9? I tougth we are going to take a coin flip with carolina
 
I think it's highly unlikely Miami is able to out do any offer Cleveland can put together. They have 2 firsts with one being the 4th overall. They could offer both or just the 4th and later round picks. The Rams would only be moving down 2 spots and can still get Blackmon or Claiborne
 
As long as we don't have to trade more than one other 1st round pick I am all for it. This year's 1st and 3rd, next year's 1st and 4th, sounds like a good price to pay. I would even entertain trading some more of this year's picks but IMO we should try to not burn our second round pick. That being stated. GET GRIFFIN III! Kid is too good on too many levels not to succeed.
 
My only fear is trading Marshall to go up. I freaking love Marshall and a rookie QB needs a stud WR to help him out. I have not heard any rumors of that, but I still hope it doesnt happen.
 
I don't see this happening either. This is the kind of thing a desperate coach or new GM would do.

We have a GM that is comfortable and planning ahead. Ireland has drafted well and I believe he will continue to do this.

I think they will pick a QB lower in the draft and bring in a vet to compete with Moore.

That would suck. It's time to go big on a QB if at all possible. Let's get a guy who will excite the fan base and has the potential to be a bigtime star.
