Albert out vs Rams

Well that sucks but hopefully Quinn won't play for them. Urbik will need to step up

bad news. Hope this isn't long term.

Starting LT is out and... we aren't forced to suffer watching #63 this Sunday.

Baby steps.

Branden Albert - T - Dolphins
Dolphins LT Branden Albert (wrist) has been ruled out for Week 11 against the Rams.
It's a huge loss for the Dolphins' line, but they may catch a break if Rams RE Robert Quinn (illness) is unable to play after checking himself into a hospital earlier this week. Quinn was released on Tuesday, but it remains unclear if he'll be able to suit up. Rookie Laremy Tunsil will play left tackle.

This isn't a surprise at all.
Clearly the hand specialist confirmed that Albert was risking further dislocation and that bracing was not adequate to protect.
Suggests that playing Sunday was a risk that Albert had taken and he may have paid for it dearly.
We probably dodged a bullet

So the question becomes how many games he would likely miss? Would assume more than one unless they are just waiting for the swelling to go down etc..

I think we all know Robert quinns gonna play...they've been using him as a sub rusher cause he's suspect in the run game

to limit that exposure don't get behind the sticks...easier said than done

and definitely don't find yourself chasing the scoreboard

Tunsil looked pretty solid last week in relief for Albert. I mean those big Ajayi runs came with Tunsil and Urbik in the lineup.

CARLSBAD, Calif. — Miami Dolphins left tackle Branden Albert will be out at least two or three weeks and that’s in a best-case scenario, according to a league source.

Albert left Sunday’s game at the Chargers but finished it with a soft cast on his left wrist. Albert has seen a specialist and it has been determined he is not fit to play.
