Albert Wilson not practicing today

Agree. You need pass offense and pass defense so you built there first.
Yes plus that’s where the moneys at. Try getting those positions in FA and see what it cost you

we signed tj rahming to the practice squad and cut christain sams

Albert Wilson WR, Miami Dolphins

Dolphins WR Albert Wilson (calf) wasn't spotted at practice again Thursday.

Wilson is trending towards missing the Dolphins' Week 2 matchup against the Patriots. Allen Hurns is positioned to work as the offense's starting slot WR if Wilson is ultimately unable to suit up. He'll be flanked in 3-WR sets by DeVante Parker as well as a mix of Jakeem Grant and Preston Williams. None are appetizing fantasy options against the Patriots' beastly secondary.

Albert Wilson WR, Miami Dolphins

Albert Wilson (calf, hip) remained sidelined at Friday's practice.

RT Julien Davenport (ankle) and S Reshad Jones (ankle) were also spectators. At this point it would be an upset if any of them played against the Patriots in Week 2. Shorthanded and coming off a 49-point loss to Baltimore, the Dolphins enter Sunday's matchup against the defending champs as 18.5-point home underdogs. It could get ugly.

I saw "Calf" and was relieved. At least it's not another "pissed off and seeking trade" status.

It is my belief that anyone with a slightly overgrown toenail is going to claim injury.

and he's out for the game

Albert Wilson WR, Miami Dolphins

Dolphins WR Albert Wilson (calf, hip) has been ruled out for the Dolphins' Week 2 matchup against the Patriots.

Wilson was being force fed targets in Week 1 prior to being injured. Allen Hurns will takeover for Wilson in the slot and is expected to be flanked by DeVante Parker as well as a combination of Jakeem Grant and Preston Williams. Each is a thin play this week against the Patriots' dominant secondary, which is headlined by CB Stephon Gilmore, who is expected to travel with Parker for the majority of the afternoon.

His hip is now listed on the report in addition to the calf. They probably should have pushed back his return.

yup. Rushing him back for what? To go 0-16? That's not an easy injury to come back from, specially when his game is speed and shifting.

It wouldn't have helped. Time doesn't really help the hip after a certain point.

Love the kid! but I knew right away his career was in serious jeopardy with the hip injury.

No surgery and after 8+ months he's still got issues despite all the rest therapy etc.

I still really hope the kid can recover but the odds seem more and more remote.
