I think Alex Gibbs deserves an interview with the Dolphins. I haven't heard his name being mentioned alot in all of this media blitz but it has been mentioned that
,
"Gibbs is regarded as one of the rare coaches who can overhaul a team's running game, have an impact on its passing game and improve an entire offense. He did it with the Raiders, the Chiefs, the Broncos and the Falcons -- and he will do it for whichever team hires him next. "

Discussion?

Sorry if this has been mentioned but I couldn't find anything previous using the Search feature.

Great find. Heck if Ron Turner is getting an interview I don't see why Alex Gibbs shouldn't get one.

Seems to be a lot of suggestions on the next HC for the Phins but, again, I have not heard much abut Alex Gibbs. Anyone care to share their opinions regarding him as a possible HC candidate?

hes been an oline coach for along time...he helped Pete Carrol fix the USC line and hes made the past Bronco line which put out 1000 yard runners every year...

if we do get him i wouldnt want him as the ocoord or head coach ..just a oline coach but then again who would want to dump Huock

I dont know that he's a good canidate for an offensive coordinator/HC position, and he's not a better OL coach than Hudson Houck.

I agree that it would be a negative if we lost Hud Houck as OL coach. They probably would not mix well. But as far as not having experience, Sean Payton had no HC experience either but he has made the transition to NO HC very nicely.
