I don't think enough is being made of his return yesterday.

Sure he threw 3 picks but he also put up over 300 yards.

Considering that he nearly lost that leg his play yesterday was nearly miraculous.

Incredible story.

It would have been super inspiring if he won. As it was he threw three picks including the game sealer when his team had an easy chance at winning. Three picks will spoil a lot of narratives.

Here’s hoping he racks up a couple wins down the stretch and ges them comfortably behind Houston.

It’s good to see him playing though. He seems like a good dude so seeing a guy like that be able to finish on the field is pretty inspiring. That franchise needs guys like Smith and Rivera to compensate for Snyder.

Would they want to trade up for Justin Fields? Would I mind taking Dwayne Haskins (and a lot of draft picks) to give myself a pretty talented backup? Haskins has talent but not the kind that could ever threaten Tua. There are a lot of teams in the league right now that need to make a drastic move to shake up their stagnant franchises.

Indy, Atlanta, Washington, Dallas, Chicago, Minnesota, Denver, NYG, Detroit, NYJ, Jax, Carolina (although trending up).

He should win Comeback Player of the Year even if he never plays another down this season.

He did well to even return but he's not a NFL quality QB anymore. Washington and Rivera are being dumb and pig headed here in not re-instilling Haskins, if they don't think they can win with him, they are just diminishing his trade value by saying to the whole NFL that this version of Alex Smith and Kyle whatever is better than him. If they are still not sure what they have then surely playing him now makes sense, see what you have got before next year's draft. I would be shocked if they didn't draft a QB with their first round pick next year.
