Alexander now available for trade.

Another top RB on trade mart... Seattle has reportedly told franchised RB Shaun Alexander that the team would be amenable to trading his rights. And like Indianapolis which reportedly told the agent for franchised Colts' RB Edge James that they would not necesssily requier even a #1 pick as compensation - both would command two first rounders as compensation if they were signed to an offer sheet - the Seahawks have reportedly told Alexander that they also wouldn't necessarily seek a first round pick in any trade.

Things are starting to get very interesting.

Here is the Seattle Times story on this issue. James and Alexander are both available for less than a first round pick. This, IMO, drives Travis Henry's value down. A team may be able to get Henry for a 4th round pick or even a pick in the 2006 draft.

I'd rather get Henry for a 4th if the chips fell that way.. Alexander for a future second would make my heart warm.. then Braylon Edwards with the #2? :drool:

I could live with any of those guys for a conditional 2006 pick. Henry is the one who has the most to prove, though, obviously. I'm worried about his injuries, seems like he misses an awful lot of time, though credit is due for that time he played about half a season with broken ribs.
