Really good break down. A lot of things went right, or should I say, players adapted very well to unpredictable situations to make this play happen.

I really think Stephon Gilmore was the key part which enabled the entire play.

All he has to do is get involved in the pursuit of the ball carrier.

Instead he veered away from the action opening up a huge lane for Drake to run through.

I get that he was playing the lateral to Gesicki just in case the ball went that way but in that situation you have to stop the immediate threat.

Not only was Gesicki on that side, but Stills got up and went behind Gesicki... That kept Gilmore in check. Had he cut back toward Drake, he might have passed across field to Gesicki, who then had an option to pitch back to Stills who had a lot of daylight on that side of the field.

Excellent play design for the situation and even better execution all around.
