9 possible QB's in the race, Woodson gets it IMO.

It's all on you.

Every play call, every snap that matters. Everyone knows your name and has taken it in vain. You can't walk into a class without hearing murmurs and giggles. The lights, man, they seem so bright. The burden's weight so heavy.

Just by association, you are something special.

Tarkenton and Wuerffel and Sullivan. Manning, all three of them. Spurrier and Zeier. Stabler and Namath.

You are a quarterback starting in the Southeastern Conference where the best and most important football is played each year.

Pressure has gobbled up as many quarterbacks as it has elevated to stardom. But whether you're Buck Belue or Kyle Morris, your time as an SEC starting quarterback was a big part of your definition. You can still remember the hatching butterflies, the pumping adrenaline, the so-close plays.

For a dozen young men, it's coming. And for one of them, the merit badge that is All-SEC quarterback awaits.

One of the things that makes this one of the most interesting seasons ever in the conference is that we have no idea which one it will be.

I'm going to be watching Flynn, Brandon Cox, and Woodson.

If I had to pick one right now, Woodson would be the safe pick, just based on last year.

Hard to believe that a QB from Kentucky led the SEC in passing last year.

I don't know that I pick Woodson cause of the talent around him, But he is very very good.

^Same here. I think Woodson is probably the best of the bunch, but I dpn't think he'll have the best season. My vote would be for Erik Ainge.

I would have picked Ainge, But he really struggles without out good Wr's and I don't know if TN has enough good ones this year.

Coulda said the same thing last year.

Yeah thats true however doing it two years in a row will be alot harder. All the teams he plays now will pay alot more attention to him and other players will have to step up. Woodson is very good tho.

True, I'm not saying he'll have the best year. But preseason All-SEC QB should definitely be him IMO.

Didn't Cutler face the same problem?

Cutler had it alot worse, at least Woodson has a solid RB.

If Little can stay healthy, then Woodson should shine again this year. WRs Burton and Lyons showed some major improvements last year as well.

Woodson should be the preseason pick, but they're are going to have offensive line problems this year. Unless they can get a couple of big kids from the campus lunch room to block for him, I'm afraid he's going to spend most of his season on his back with an opposing LB or DL on top of him...

I totally agree that he should be the preseason pick. This should be a close race all year to see who is 1st team SEC QB at the end of the season tho
