Not bad except for the rookie being on the all-time team. I'd drop Vernon Carey (even if I had to put Wade in there). I believe Doug Betters would be better than Trace as well. I also wonder about Madison being better than McNeal but it was hard to compare the two...

Good job overall. Is this close to the thread from last year, same topic?

Pretty good list but I would make these changes.
Mercury Morris at running back instead of Ricky Williams? Hmm

Jim Langer is a HOF center not guard. Bob Kuechenberg should be the other guard.

Vernon Carey hasn't played long enough to be on the list. Besides at this point, Norm Evans was much better.

Louis Oliver was good but I would still give Dick Anderson the slight nod.

Ted Ginn, Jr hasn't return a single kick yet so how can he be on this list? Fulton Walker held the NFL record for punt return yards in a season for 11 seasons.

Yeah I agree. I also think you put Den Herder and Stanfill at the 2 DE spots.

I`d put Wayne Moore or Norm Evans over Carey. Dick Anderson over Louis Oliver. Ricky Williams over Mercury. Bill Stanfill over Trace. Finally, how can Ginn even be on the list, because of potential? Fulton Walker gets my nod.

If you were to put both Vern Den Herder and Bill Stanfill at the DE spots, you would have to remove Jason Taylor. I don't think either of them are better than JT.

Who in the rightful mind would put Ted Ginn Jr. on the all time team when he hasn't played a down or made the team as a player. Only a moron would do something like that.

My corrections are too the right in bold.

1)Jim Langer was a hall of fame center, not a guard, that position has to go to Kuechenberg.

2) Vernon Carey might one day earn a spot on this team, But for now I place a few guys ahead of him at tackle.

3) Bob Baumhower went to like 5 straight pro bowls as a key player on the Killer Bees, Bowens is close but not quite there.

4) Trace Armstrong was good, but Bill Stanfill was much better, his career, like Stephensons, was cut a bit short by injury.

5) Louis Oliver was a popular player, but Dick Anderson was a GREAT safety on the greatest Dolphin teams in history.

The only other major problem I have with your list is three middle linebackers on the list, they probably are the three greatest Dolphin linebackers, but this team has no outside backers.

I'm sorry, Ricky had one great year here, but his problems knock him off any all-time Dolphin list.

Mercury notched a 1000 yards the same year Csonka did as well, he was an awesome back and was under utilized due to the talent those teams had.

Seems like this topic comes up every few months, and I always bite.

QB - Marino
HB - Morris
FB - Csonka
WR - Warfield
WR - Clayton
TE - Jackson
OT - Webb
OT - Evans
G - Keuchenberg
G - Little
C - Stephenson

DE - Taylor
DE - Stanfill
DT - Baumhower
DT - Bowens
LB - Thomas
LB - Offerdahl
LB - Cox
CB - Madison
CB - Surtain
S - Scott
S - Anderson

As always the hardest omission is Langer, but you can only have one center. Cox makes it over Buonticonti because there really shouldn't be three inside linebackers and Cox played outside as well as inside. For the guy who said Vincent over Madison, did you know that Madison went to four pro bowls as a phin and Vincent zero?

You gotta fit AJ Duhe in there somewhere. The Jason Taylor of his time.

I would still take Ricky, I could hand the ball to him 50 times a game. Him & Csonk? You gotta be kidding, that would be insane. The opposing team would be wicked concussed.
