All you fans that think Tannehill is the best route to go...

Cleveland is a possibility at Tannehill at 4, but I honestly don't think they will reach that far. I really only think Tannehill is mentioned in the top half of the 1st because of the number of qb hungry teams. If you are sold that Tannehill is a safe pick at 8 then I respect that. I won't be devastated if Tannehill is the pick, but I really feel its a reach.

Even though Weeden is 28 I think he is a better pick for us in the 2nd. In my opinion he is a 1st round talent that will drop only due to his age.

They do have a 2nd first round pick . . . but yea they have a gaping hole at RB and Trent is the best prospect since AP. Seems to fit, although I'm sure many people feel that RB is a reach at that point. They need another WR too.

Cleveland is one team that is in worse shape than us on offense.
They would better off getting Blackmon, who is more likely a sure thing then.

OF COURSE HE'S A REACH AT 4! but guess what, so was Jake Locker at 8 last year, and Ponder at 12. With the new rookie wage scale, these top picks are cheaper than before, you're going to see more and more reaches. And who cares if it's a reach, Cleveland isn't stupid, they know if they pass on him he's probably going #8 to Miami. IIF they want him, key word being if, they will have no problem using the 4th pick to take him.

People don't understand this at all. In an ideal world, Tannehill is probably a late first or early 2nd . . . but when you are a team lacking a franchise QB, you have to reach. Do people really think RGIII isn't a reach at #2? He is, but guess what, the Redskins have some hope now . . . and I think Tannehill would bring some of that hope to South Florida. If the coach likes him, and feels he is the best option, Miami needs to make that happen.

Even if Miami watches Cleveland take him, I could see them working out a trade later with the Fins taking Richardson and throwing a player/pick and swap with Cleveland. Alot of options that could be done here.

In the end, I see Cleveland taking Richardson, Miami taking Tannehill and Cleveland coming back with Weeden with that 2nd pick.

Wow I'm not sure, I think Trent is definitely a sure thing in the NFL, the only roadblock is injuries. Talent to Talent, I'll take Trent though.

I would prefer to go all in for Matt Barkley next year, and folow the Pats philosophy and trade down in the draft. If we traded down twice in the 1st rd we could really stock pile picks this draft.

Hopefully the reports about Cleveland rolling with Colt this year and going all in for Barkley next year are true (unless we were thinking of doing the same thing). If the FO is smart, they sit patiently at 8. Unless there is a "can't miss prospect" sitting there, I hope we trade back and grab a 2nd. It's crazy how a guy like Aaron Rodgers can slide to the mid 20's, but prospects of much less caliber are being over drafted. We have other holes. I think Tannehill could be very good, but no sense in trading up and reaching for a guy when we have a lot of holes (unless they really do see him as a franchise guy).

I'm more inclined to believe the Browns take Blackmon @4 & Weedon @25. Fills two needs and puts two guys together that have a report from college.

up....because apparently not enough of you guys are getting the message.

i like the idea of the trade own and stocking picks, but the dolphins havent said much about the game plans, schemes or anything.
so they are trading down and just drafting players, but i would rather have a great impact player then a guy that needs to sit an learn

Or trade the #8 overall to cleveland for there 2nd 1st rd pick and a 2nd this year and a 3rd next yr.

Weedon is going to be good for at least 10 years in this league.

based on what . How many good 39 year old qb's are there in the nfl right now. how many are good until 39 period.
The odds are quite against it. Weeden is basically 5 years younger than Garrard and people already see him as not that good anymore.

Tannehill got sherman fired. Why would we draft him at 8? Its not going to happen.
?
