Alonzo Highsmith expresses interest in Miami's GM job

When Baker was drafted he was Vice President of Player Personnel with the Browns, so he was highly involved with that decision. That was 7 years ago however. Now he is some kind of executive with NE. They had decent to good draft the last two season while he was there.
I would check his pulse for Super Bowl, and if he has a winning or outdated philosophy. Definitely worthy of an interview.

Baker was consensus #1 pick for a team in need of a QB. The pick wasn't exactly re-inventing the wheel.
 
I would add him to the list of candidates to at least get an interview. Ross hopefully has competent people advising him.
 
He is highly respected around the league and has experience, countless coaches and personnel have sought his expertise because he has an eye for talent. Don’t believe me, look it up, these are snippets from articles. I’m not sure where these baseless fabrications of his lack of expertise and experience are coming from

Just because he's from NE doesn't make him a turd. Can't hurt to have a chat with the guy.
