I think 12 is our cap with Landry. Yes, its high, but I think they value him that much. I dont see them paying him 13, but who the hell knows with this FO. They give out money to anyone, why start holding back with your most productive player on offense?

Yah the key number when comparing Landry to other receivers in my eyes is TOUCHDOWNS. He is great at moving the chains but we need guys that get points. I think he only had 4 last year, so on a better pace this year but I can't see paying a guy $12M for 4-8 TD's a season. Even when we paid Wallace wayyy too much at $12M a year he at least seemed to score a lot.

Landry and his agent will point to his career high in TD's this year as if he's getting better at this stage of his career, but I think that's pretty far from reality. I'm really on the fence on if I would like the team to sign him to the deal he will want. I don't think he should get that kind of money for his production but when he actually cares he's the heart and soul of the offense. Idk how you pay guys like branch and Alonso what they're making though and then look Landry in the face and tell him he doesn't deserve much more than that.

I dont want to lose Landry at all but more than 13 per year makes me weary on that... (yes i know they could structure it blah blah) but still we don’t have a ton of money to throw around. Oh how i wish we hadn’t signed cutler and just rode it out as a wasted season ... we would have about the same results
