Miami leads all teams with 99 receptions in the preseason. Granted they've played 4 games already, but with close to 100 receptions in 4 games, that's 25 recs per game. Of those teams that have played only 3 games so far, the receptions leaders are...

TEN 79 rec
OAK 78 rec
MIA would fit here with approx. 75 rec in 3 games
SEA 73 rec
PHI 67 rec
WAS 66 rec
SD 64 rec

Get the **** outta here we have good WRs, this isnt Seattle.
 
Impossible to ignore how many times we've passed the ball in the preseason. But I'm hoping for a more balanced attack, especially given the quality of our (inconsistent) quarterbacks. I guess the vertical game is part of Linehan's offense, but I would hope we'd be more committed to the run with Ronnie Brown and, when he comes back in Week 5, Ricky Williams. We could throw 45 times a game if we had Marino, but we don't, so I hope we show more commitment to the running game than all this Gus overthrows Chambers nonsense.
