Considering Edelman and Amendola are scheduled to return, LeFell needs to be accounted for, and Gronkowski after catch is a trampling in waiting, coupled with the Pats needing this game to clinch home field advantage while Brady is still on a deflation redemption campaign, I don't think NE needs any outside juju to wreck the Fins. But still, for me it would be nice considering the karma this team, some of the players and the peripheral ignorant noises deserve.
Rooting against the Fins usually goes against my grain cuz where there's life, there's hope as the saying goes; it was that for me with the "Suck for Luck" season. But really, at this point there's now nothing to play for except to get the malingerers fired or cut and to secure a better draft position. So why not?
My ideal scenario would be Grimes getting used and abused by every WR he covers (like he has most of the season), and run over by Gronk trying to tackle him in the backfield, the Offense stepping up to play well against a respectable defense, while our own defense ends up costing us the game.
Would love to see the la douche embarrassment try to spin that one!
