i hear pitt fans are pretty bad. i'm a very obnoxious loud screaming fan that goes crazy on each play yelling at every bad call on my feet the whole game. now im going into the steelers stadium all decked out in fins gear and im honestly gonna say im worried about the fans. i know im probably gonna have to be low key but how is that possible when the fins are scoring touchdowns? when culpepper breaks a run im naturally going to get on my feet and start screaming and then singing miami has the dolphins..
has anyone been to hines field? is it risky just wearing a fins jersey to this unfriendly environment or should i paint my face and hope for the best?

Do you remember the commercial with the Phin Fan in the Jets bar? You shoulda seen the whipping he got... yours shouldn't be much worse :)

Never been to pitt myself but in general fans are not that bad, dont start nothing, it wont be nothing. Good luck man.

i went to see the Phins in Oakland on hallowe'en a few years back. When I bought my tickets on ticketmaster even the woman on the phone asked me if i was sure i really wanted go numerous times.

At the game Abul Jabbar scored the only touchdown in the first half of a 16-9 contest... in my euphoria i started to celebrate.... I was sitting in the bleachers.... the row directly in front of me were 7 guys with RAIDERS painted on their chests... they turned around and informed me that while its kewl to support my team.. i should never forget where i am... My ex'wife was 7 months pregnant at the time.... she didnt let me forget where i was either for the remainder of the game.

In all of that is a story.... of how to fly your colors... and enjoy an enemy stadium... i travel all over the states, largely to see the phins.. but also to see different stadiums.... Enjoy the moment. Im sure the players appreciate your efforts.... MAKE US PROUD.!!!

I was there last year for the pre season game and i was cheering. Nothing happened to me just one guy was like i wonder who is gonna be in last place miami or chicago. He really knew what he was talking about.

thank god you and your wife didnt get hurt, that would have been f'ed up even for raiders fans(aka freaks)

Generally, if you don't start anything, nothing will happen to you, except in New York, and possibly Buffalo. I went to the Dolphins-Bills game up North last year, and there was one real obnoxious guy that tried to start stuff with my buddy and I, but some of the other fans apologized for him. Although what was funny was that two female Buffalo fans got into a fight with each other.

I go to the Phis/Bills game every year there since its a hour away from Toronto. Bills fans are the most obnoxious by far. Ive been threatened many times there. And have had whole sections jeering me constantly. But in an odd sadistic way its great. i love the passion fans have... repsect shown is respect given. In any situation.

Sounds worse that it actually was. I had the $%^^& clean out of my pants by the end of the 1st quarter... After that ... The Raider fans were more upset of how patheitc their team was that day to worry about me.

I would go back to see a game there ANYDAY... One of the best places to go for atmosphere anywhere. In and out of the stadium.

A few years back when Miami played in Oakland I remember a fellow FinFan was totally rubbin it in a bunch Oakland fans faces all game long we ended up beatin the Raiders i just remember the guy leavin b4 the game was over after the game, i went to use the bathroom and it was taped off by security. Few minutes later EMS carted the guy outta the bathroom, his face looked like a piece of chuck roast ,really couldnt make out any facial features. come to find out few guys he was hecklin got revenge..

My first live Dolphin game was at the Raiders in LA. I didn't cheer once. I was young and scared to death. The fans were all thugs and gang bangers. It really was no fun at all. I don't know if there were ever any fans worse than them. Seriously!

it depends on the way you act

I think the best places to watch an away game is SanDiego&Arizona everytime ive gone to those games FinFans always outnumbered hometeam fans..
So it was always cool to act up..
